I would like to recognize Ronnie, Carmen and Odalys and Gesley!!! for their outstanding professionalism, compassion, and dedication to patient care. They make patients feel supported and respected. Everyone should work in one accord to create a welcoming and positive environment for patients and their families. Leadership should be proud to have these team members and implement this behavior to everyone from front desk to doctors. Everyone plays a key role to successful business.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care and compassion they showed my grandmother during her stay. Everyone treated her with kindness, respect, and genuine concern for her well-being. The nurses and caregivers were always attentive, professional, and patient, making her feel comfortable and valued every day. Knowing she was in such caring hands gave our family great peace of mind. My family was very disappointed with the level of care provided. During her stay at The Floridean, my mother’s health steadily declined, and we did not feel that adequate attention was given to the many medical issues and concerns she was experiencing. She developed pneumonia, which was never diagnosed despite having multiple episodes of breathing difficulties. Her condition continued to worsen until the facility ultimately had no choice but to send her to the hospital. There, additional medical problems were discovered that had never been communicated to our family or properly addressed during her rehabilitation stay. Which lead to my mother’s passing. Based on our experience, we do not believe this facility provided the quality of care our mother needed. I would not recommend this facility to others seeking rehabilitation care for a loved one.

My grandmother received physical therapy here after a fall for about 6 weeks. At first, everything seemed to be going well, but after some time, two issues led my family to switch my grandmother to another facility: (1) Communication with family about my grandmother's Care Plan was very poor - we had to call several times for information and got transferred from dept to dept; Medical appointments, therapy progress, and medical diagnoses were only disclosed after we asked/called several times and NO doctors ever spoke to the family (we had no idea when they came or how she was evaluated) (2) CNA/ staffing shortages led to frequent delays in care; there were several occasions where my grandmother's clothing was soaked through in urine because her diaper was changed at the end of the day only; on other occasions she was in pain or discomfort and did not receive attention/care in a timely manner That being said, the night time nurses (Yosi & Jose) were very attentive to my grandmother and kept our family informed as much as possible when we could not get answers from the staff during the day. They also monitored my grandmother's pain and discomfort overnight closely. Camille on the admissions staff was also very friendly and answered many of the family's questions whenever possible (but she did not have direct info on my grandmother's Care Plan).

My grandma’s stay here was truly a blessing. From the very first day until her last day, she was treated with so much kindness, patience, and dignity. The staff showed genuine care and compassion, always making sure she felt comfortable, safe, and respected. The environment was clean, peaceful, and welcoming, which gave our family so much reassurance. Seeing her smile and knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared meant everything to us. We are deeply grateful for the love and attention she received. Thank you for making her last days filled with warmth and comfort. We will never forget the compassion you showed our family. 💐
