FirstLight was such a blessing to my family. My father had dementia and my 93 year old mother was trying to take care of him as he was going downhill in health. Barry was an absolute Godsend, especially to my mom. He was so caring and loving. He kept my dad engaged in conversation and was so gentle with him. When my dad was sleeping when Barry was over, Barry made sure to help my mom in every way possible, from cooking dinner to changing linen and fixing little things she needed help with to just being an amazing listener. He became a very important part of our family and we will be forever grateful to him. He will always be part of our family. Thank you FirstLight and Barry.

First Light Home Care was incredible. Their fees are reasonable, especially considering the service they provide. Jennifer was an absolute angel throughout this entire time period and I cannot imagine any of this going as well as it did without her. They had been coming a few hours a week to assist with minor needs for a short time prior to the unexpected and sudden decline in health of our loved one, so there was already a strong trust and level of comfort established. They immediately made arrangements and had staff at the house exactly when requested. Their home care staff was amazing. Every single person who came was professional and highly skilled. Equally important, they were kind, compassionate, hard-working, so detail-oriented, trust-worthy, and obviously invested in helping care for our loved one while he was on hospice. They were also very aware of and empathized with the impact our loved one's decline had on us as well. A few of their staff went far above and beyond, but all exceeded our expectations (which were high). This company and the caring individuals they provided allowed E.T. to focus his energies and emotions on Louis. Sometimes that meant trying to encourage him to eat, to feed him, or to just sit and hold his hand and talk to him while he rested. It is difficult to express anything positive about the death of someone as loved as Louis... We know he is not suffering, and we believe he is reunited with his Mother and other loved ones, but one very positive experience was First Light Home Care of Denver South and all of their people, including the owner. As our loved one moved through the devastating process of dying, it is unimaginable what it would have been like without First Light Home Care and their in-home care givers. We are working towards establishing a benevolence fund in hopes that others facing such unexpected challenges are able to reach out to First Light Home Care. The difference it made in the life...and death...of Louis will not be forgotten. From E.T., myself, and all who loved Louis, Thank you.

My mom is in memory care, and when there in house doctor and staff are telling you the caregivers are so good for your mom, you know you have a top rated company you are with. I would recommend them to everyone
