I could not recommend this company more. Josh (PT) took amazing care of my dad twice, and helped him recover completely. My dad is not the easiest person to get along with, and he raved about Josh after every visit. Everyone we interacted with at this company was phenomenal, and they take great care of their patients.

I would not recommend 1st choice. I do want to acknowledge the good care provided by the physical therapist and occupational therapist. When I decided to transition to hospice care, I was reassured that this would be a smoother process and that they would be there to support my father and me. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and I felt like I was left to navigate this challenging time on my own. Rachel, my father's nurse, made errors with his medication, and I had to remind her to perform basic care tasks. I had a standing order from the doctor to get urine samples for his UTIs whenever I asked for them, I had to practically beg her to collect the urine samples. I felt like I had to babysit her, and it was extremely stressful. I had to advocate for open communication, but my requests were consistently met with excuses. Despite speaking with her supervisor twice, I saw no improvements. When I traveled out of the country, I was reassured that my father would receive the care he needed from 1st Choice and Covington in Orem, but this was not the case. When I was out of the country, I was on the phone with 1st choice and Covington in Orem advocating for his care on a daily basis.I also asked for medical supplies and most of the time they did not have them and could not provide them so I would buy them or order them off of Amazon. The lack of communication and continuity of care was alarming. His aid that helped him shower and get dressed Also did not communicate with me about her going out of town while I was out of the country, i thought we were friends. Me and my father even attended her Mother‘s funeral. My father really Liked her, so I Surprised she didn’t communicate this to me. I asked her why she didn’t communicate with me and she said she didn’t have time to communicate with every single family member of her patients. I had heard from her other patients that she did communicate with and told them she was going out of town. If I had known this beforehand ,I would have made other arrangements for him with people He was comfortable with and recognized. Upon my return, I made the decision to terminate their services, as I felt that my father's well-being was being compromised with first choice and Covington in Orem. Sadly, he passed away shortly after. I hope that by sharing my experience, others may be inspired to demand better care for their loved ones. I would not recommend this company.

First Choice Home Health has been such a help for our family. The nurses who help my dad are very friendly and knowledgeable. I always have good follow-up as to what's happening and they have been easy to work with.

I used the services of First Choice home health due to my surgery. They were very cordial and took all necessary steps to keep me comfortable and ensured they keep tab of my vitals and also provide support in terms of any questions I had regarding the health condition. I would definitely recommend first choice home health to others who are in need of this service

We as a family were so impressed with Monique our Mothers hospice nurse. She became part of the family. The care and concern went above and beyond what her job entails. You could see that she deeply cared for our Mother and us as a family. She made this unpleasant time bearable and most importantly our Mother was loved and cared for as she left us. Melissa was great as well and took great care of our Mother's needs. What a great team. I would MOST definitely recommend First Choice to anyone.
