I would definitely recommend Fayette Medical Center. My experience from start to finish in Outpatient testing was very professional and the whole staff made me feel at ease. One procedure was a mammogram and the technician was very professional and kind they even had a heated gown!

I have never seen such uncaring displayed in the middle of a trauma in an ER as I did 3/7/26 at fayette ER ,where 2 family members and a 3 party in the vehicle were taken after a traumatic MVA , where it's was so bad there was talk of flying them from the scene but due to weather they were transported to fayette via ground transportation instead, nothing about any of thier care was professional, kind ,caring or urgent. Every question I asked was met with I dont know ,not with I dont have an answer but I'll get you one and be right back . They told a trauma victim was screaming in pain and fear to shut up ,a 16 yo minor at that who was in a trauma bay alone , on a back board ,in a collar ,who woke up covered in blood surrounded by EMS and not know what had just happened, she was cut out by the jaws of life . Those night shift nurse didn't give 2 shits about their pain ,VS ,any of the families concerns or questions, we might as well been invisible. Those nurses need to go work in a clinic not a hospital, they tried to tell us they were busy funny thing is those nurses sat behind the desk the majority of the night not in rooms caring for patients and noticed them on their cells alot , my granddaughter was bloody and had a laceration it took them 8 ,8 hours to clean her up and take care of that laceration. Their pain was never handled correctly, hell nothing about that visit was handled correctly... The Dr .never talked to us ,explained anything nothing ... so shift change happens day shift comes on whole different demeanor, they are kind ,caring , admin correct pain management meds ,the Dr. Treats us like we are in a crisis. The night shift weekend team needs crash courses in Trauma and bedside care ,how to address families questions. What they didnt count on was I have a medical background of 37 years and you made our Night mare worse than it had to be .

Quickly taken in for my unscheduled X-ray. The ladies doing my X-ray were very courteous and kind. I know one was named Whitney but I can’t remember the other lady’s name. They were professional and understood that I was uncomfortable and did a great job of getting each picture(I think they did four or five)as quick as they could see I was in pain and couldn’t be still very long. Highly recommend

Appointment for lung scan scheduled one year in advance. No one had sent my referral to insurance for approval so had to wait. Blood drawn, had to wait again. Excise then was something going on in ER. Waited all in all 1 hour 45 minutes for this appointment. Scheduled at 7:45am so I could get to work in Winfield by 9:30. Didn’t leave the hospital in Fayette until 10 making me late for work. Arrived at work 1 hour late. Had to cancel 2 classes.
