Fairwinds Desert Point has been an incredible place for my aging parents to live. I never knew senior living could be so great! In addition to the delicious food, fun activities, beautiful apartments and personalized care, the management and staff at Fairwinds truly showed up for our family when it mattered most.<br><br>We lost my father in May of this year, and Fairwinds graciously relocated my mother to a smaller, freshly renovated unit that would better suit her needs. Alexis in the sales department went above and beyond to communicate with our family about the new unit and connect us with service providers before the move. The General Manager, Juan, and the rest of the front office (Julie, Amanda and Kendra) also were instrumental in making this move happen and allowed me to stay in the guest suite to facilitate the move. Everything went extremely smoothly and I am so grateful for their many kindnesses along the way.<br><br>The Fairwinds staff are exceptional and do everything possible to help residents feel comfortable on a daily basis. From the front desk attendants (Gloria, Elizabeth, Gani, Colleen, Fabian), the transportation providers (Ian and Sherry), and the Activity Center manager (Jo), to the assisted living caregivers, maintenance crew, coffee bar baristas and waitstaff in the dining room, Fairwinds truly is a place where everybody knows your name. This is particularly helpful to those of us who live far away from our loved ones; I sleep so much better at night knowing that my mom lives in a place where the staff truly cares. 💖<br><br>Fairwinds Desert Point is a special place; my parents’ lives have been enhanced by living there. I’ve come to realize that senior living is not to be feared but rather celebrated. Every stage of life takes a village, and I’m very glad my parents chose Fairwinds Desert Point to be their village for their golden years.

I spent the day at this amazing place. Being a Caregiving and Massage Therapist I am in many Caregiving environments. Fairwinds tops them all! The atmosphere is Happy. The set up of the Lobby. Dining room and new Coffee bar feels like a resort. So so nice.<br>Also, the young woman who works the Coffee bar. She is so genuinely kind to everyone!! What a kind and very hard worker.

A beautiful establishment with so much to offer. I really appreciate the concern by the sales director, Raquel, for my mom and her living arrangement. This group really wants seniors to live well. The location and environment are exceptional. It is a reasonable size community, where residents have space to move around and engage their neighbors without being overwhelmed. The quality of decor and apartment features really impressed us.

My husband and I have been researching independent living in the Southwest. The experience has been varied and often limited. However, at Fairwinds-Desert Point we were given a full understanding of the amenities, subtle pluses and minuses and no pressure whatsoever. The depth of caring for our particular needs was very reassuring. Unlike other facility sales persons, we felt our individual needs were addressed, rather than the usual sales pitch.<br>We are in a holding pattern right now and beginning to make the tough decisions for our future health and general living needs.,<br>Alexis and Julie were extremely helpful and kind in so many ways. We had a need for an exception for our service dogs weight and they and Jorge, the general manager, were very understanding and gave great consideration to make a positive decision that included awareness of community needs as well as ours. When we decide we need community living, the Fairwinds-Desert Point will be our next home.
