My brother Alan has been at your facility, it would be two weeks On June 29. He had a doctor appointment on June 25 that they fail to take him to. They called me on June 24 and told me he had stage two bed sores only to find out when I ask for the Care plans. I found out he had stage three. When JT I think that was his name, the nurse called me. He gave me a plan. He told me part of the car plant would be a air mattress.. When I get to the facility, they were changing his bed and I asked him about the air mattress. They didn’t even know he had bad source Told me they were looking for an air mattress and I waited an hour and a half for them to Find one. I asked the administrator about the air mattress. She told me they had to order it. They didn’t keep them in stock only to find out later that they had one.. When I went there Saturday, June 27 his colonoscopy bag had burst it was full and it burst. I left the room for about 40 minutes and came back. They were still they had stuff all over the floor and they were still cleaning them so I waited 30 more minutes, went back to the room only to find his shirt The poop all on it on the floor. And he had something that looked like poop in his fingernail. I really had high hopes for the nursing home since my brother have several friends that worked there, but only to find out that He’s getting the same Port treatment that he was getting from other nursing homes. After they missed his appointment on the 25th they had to call the paramedics to take him to the emergency room because his staples was It came loose and stuff was coming out of it of his wound. That was why he had to go to the appointment On June 25 that they missed. They still hadn’t told me why they didn’t take him to the appointment and I had confirmed with them and they had confirmed with the hospital that they knew he had one.

Our family member resident has told us on several occasions how well she is treated at Evergreen and how much she enjoys the food. The facility is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Pat Harris, Bryant

When my parent first entered Evergreen, I was pleased with the care that was provided. In recent days, the food is less than palatable. The aides get angry with my parent and tell her to mind her own business. She is afraid to talk about for fear of retaliation. I do not want her to be treated this way in her last years. I would highly reconsider before putting anyone in this facility.

The administrator reached out to me to discuss the issues raised. I appreciate her following up.

My died was at Evergreen and was treated wonderfully. My mom was @ Evergreen from 2016-2025, and they all loved her and she loved them. She had one caretaker that said she would not retire unless mom died. Mom died in June @102, and the caretaker Charlene is retired and was wonderful and ias all the other caretakers. Only problem I have with Evergreen is when you call the phone rings and rings. Does not matter what time of day. This is very frustrating. They do not have the phone staffed to be answered. Need to make corrections on this, but everything else is great. They have a new business manager, Camry, who is a great help concerning billing and any billing questions. I would recommend Evergreen to anyone seeking nursing home for loved one.
