Everett Transitional Care Services

Everett Transitional Care Services (ETCS) is a transitional care facility in Everett, Washington, operated through a partnership between Bethany of the Northwest, Regional Medical Center, and Swedish Edmonds Hospital. The facility serves individuals in Snohomish County who need temporary placement while transitioning from hospital care to home, skilled nursing, assisted living, adult family homes, or other community settings.

ETCS operates 62 beds across two floors at Providence Pacific Campus, having expanded from its initial 31-bed special needs rehabilitation unit in November 2022. The facility provides occupational, physical, and restorative therapy services to support recovery in a safe and welcoming environment.

The primary mission of ETCS is to help patients transition safely from hospital discharge to appropriate next-level care. The facility assists with discharge planning, medication review, health assessment, and facility selection to ensure continuity of care and reduce the likelihood of hospital readmission. Staff work to connect individuals with important resources and support placement in their chosen destination, whether home or another care facility.
