We signed on with this wonderful hospice first through palliative care for my loved one, which was amazingly given by Lori Grogan...such support through all of the pain issues and emotional support for me too ...after a year and a half on palliative, he needed hospice care and it was wonderful too...the whole staff was so gracious and attentive...he had a lot of middle of the night issues, yet there was always a caring nurse on the other end of the phone who helped me manage things and often needed to send a nurse to the house...the phone conversation always ended with " please call if you have any more needs, that is what we are here for"...special thank you goes to Lori Beth, our fantastic home care nurse;Tiffany, his beloved, caring CNA; Jennifer, the Director, who filled in when things were needed on Lori Beth's day off and Amy, who also came when our nurse had a well deserved day off...the social worker, Stephanie , was so helpful and we loved both chaplains who were selfless and attentive...I was a hospice house nurse at one of the oldest hospices in the US...I had always heard that the home care nurses were on another level because they had to improvise so often and all of the middle of the night calls to homes...I now understand the home care aspect a little better and just can't speak highly enough about this hospice as the home care we received was outstanding in every way...he was only at Hospice House for a night and day but they were very attentive to me and my family and it was a lovely facility too...I highly recommend Eternal Hope Hospice...the staff truly has a heart and true calling for authentic hospice care for patient and family...

DON'T GO HERE!!! My sister was at this place last month for two weeks. They admitted to me that they heard her moan in such agonizing discomfort the final five minutes of her life and yet didn't check on her!!! Nurse Nicole said her moans were so loud that she thought it was a car outstide and even described it as a "growl'!!! Four staff members heard this and yet none of them went to check on her until five minutes later, and she was dead. To think that my sister's last moments on this earth were spent that way, is terribly painful and infuriating!!! Then for Nicole to even have the nerve to even share this with me, with a demeanor as cold as ice, is very disturbing. She had no compassion and never even said that she was sorry for my loss or anything. Nurse Cindy lied about the situation until I revealed that Nicole had shared with me what happened. Then, she admitted it and said it was five minutes later that they checked on her and found her dead. This has been a constant source of pain for me because I trusted them to care for and comfort my sister.

I spoke with Jennifer, the Administrator, about it and all she did was apologize. They should have been suspended or terminated. Hospice is about COMFORT care, and that's certainly not what my sister received!!! I have phone records of everything that was shared. If you're thinking of going here or sending a loved one here, DON'T DO IT!!!
