Who runs this place? Check your staff at the door would you? If I could give a 0 star I would.. Sadly people come here in their most desperate time of need, and the staff treat you like you are the biggest inconvenience to them, so unprofessional and un-personal. I had to take my own grandfather who just had a welfare check done on him, get told that his care wasn’t a medical emergency for them to transport him to Duluth faster then I could get him there. Had to transport him myself at 8:30pm for emergency surgery.

This hospital is a absolute joke drive the extra hour to Duluth. They don’t do anything for anyone at this hospital. They end up transfer them to Duluth anyways but not in a timely manner been waiting over 8 hours for a transport to the Duluth hospital. Would have saved so much time just going straight to Duluth and not dealing with this place! DEFINITELY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Anywhere!!!

Just an awful place. Always has been. Nurses and doctors are rude and uncaring. I watched them make a screaming child wait to be treated in the ER when they like a teenage jock go in before him when he wasn't even hurt. When the parents of the screaming child got frustrated at the staff, they called security on them instead of understanding their frustration. I had to call their HR because it was such a disgusting act of medical care. They also charged me 900 dollars for 3 stitches before

My dad was put in ICU after the doctors discovered he had open blisters weeping out of both of his legs and feet. They pumped him full of antibiotics, and saw that recovery was slow/nonexistent. The wounds were not healing and needed to be redressed daily due to the lymphatic fluid constantly weeping out of these lesions. After the last round of IV antibiotics, they discharged him and sent him home whilst still having these painful, dangerous open sores. They scheduled him a few weeks out to go to the Duluth hospital to possibly have stints put in. For those few weeks, he was in agony. His legs looked almost gangrenous, open sores sloughed off, etc. My dad died at the Duluth hospital due to severe septicemia and I was told that it was very irresponsible that Virginia discharged him instead of tranferring him given the condition he was in. Truth be told, if he was transfered and had this handled throughout, this tragedy may never have happened.
