We hired them to care for my 92 year old mother! I would not recommend! They did nothing for her! They had been coming for 4 weeks when I got there to visit my mother! We found out they hadn’t been giving her her medicine and they did not help her bathe! I watched the nurse come all she did was check vitals I asked about the bath and she said oh they should be let me check them they said oh they don’t have a bath aid anymore! I asked about her breathing treatments and other medicines she looked like a deer in the headlights and didn’t say anything! She did help my mother to the bathroom and said your dehydrated you need to drink some water but never helped her! I was there and got water but the days I wasn’t they should have helped her! She left and sat in her car for 45 min in the driveway! I’m sure to pass her hours! In that time they could have helped her with medicines drinking and eating! They did said another nurse later that day because of all my questions and she asked where the box of medicine was! They had never set it up or documented the medicine! She showed me how to give a breathing treatment and left! My mother fell and hit her head in front of the home health nurse she had stitches in her head that the nurse knew about! We inquired after 2 weeks when they were removing them! The director called me back and said they have nothing in her chart about stitches! I said your nurse was there when it happened but she never put it in the chart! She told me she would personally go remove them that day! A few days later we had to switch to hospice we choose not to go with the same company and the hospice nurse found 4 stitches that had never been removed! One night on a Friday at 10:06pm I got a call from the home health needing to talk to us I asked what is wrong and he said my mother is unresponsive and had been for days! I said bull we took her to the hospital this morning and my cousin was there until 7pm and she was up and talking and using her walker! Come to find out he was just calling to suggest we move her to hospice! How unprofessional to call at 10pm and say your mother is unresponsive! When he really meant they didn’t think she was getting better! For one why call at 10pm at all unless it’s an emergency! I would not want another family to endure what we did
