I can’t say enough wonderful things about Embassy of Swanton. Our family is beyond grateful for the incredible care they provided to my dad. From the moment he arrived, the entire team made sure he was not only well cared for medically, but also treated with kindness, dignity, and compassion. The respiratory therapists were absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and truly invested in his recovery. They took the time to explain everything and made sure he was comfortable every step of the way. The nursing staff was equally amazing. Every nurse we encountered was patient, gentle, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to meet his needs and keep our family informed. I also want to highlight the office staff, who were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. They made everything smooth and stress-free, always greeting us with a smile and answering any questions we had. Thanks to this incredible team, my dad is now back home and better than ever. We will always be thankful for the compassion and professionalism shown to him and our family. I highly recommend Embassy of Swanton to anyone looking for exceptional care.

Nice facility with a lot of recent improvements to the building. The food is great, better than other facilities in the area. Aides and Nurses are very attentive.

My mother in law was recently admitted and I couldn't be happier with her care. For starters she was sent to another facility by mistake from the hospital and that facility did everything they could to keep her there. The administrator at Embassy worked extra hard to get everything they need from the other facility to get my mother in law over to their facility. After a week long battle with the other facility she was finally able to transfer to embassy. Upon arrival at embassy I explained my expectations for her care. In the previous week she had not been dressed, showered, stood up, or put on the toilet at the other facility and I wanted all of those things to happen every day. I was worried she would struggle to get back on her feet after a week of lying in bed doing nothing. But after explaining all of that to the nursing staff at embassy they far exceeded my expectations. In just 24 hours my mother in law had been standing, toileted regularly, had a bowel movement finally, dressed, and even showered. Thank you to Embassy of Swanton and a big thanks to Sue and Joy!

The rooms have inconsistent temperatures, and doors are often difficult for residents to open due to malfunctioning parts. Aids frequently ignore call lights, neglect showers, and fail to change diapers, resulting in UTIs. Residents have been left on the floor for extended periods, and family members have complained about these issues. Additionally, food supply is often insufficient, leading to unequal distribution and smaller portions. There have been severe cases, including residents retaining 40 pounds of water weight and missed heart doctor appointments for someone with an enlarged heart. Overall, the facility's management and care have been inadequate at best.
