I feel BLESSED that the Edmonds Villa had a room available when my mother needed somewhere to go following her hospitalization. The care she is getting is phenomenal! The staff there are first rate, experienced, considerate, and exceptionally caring and compassionate. The RN in charge (also part owner) is highly qualified and experienced, unbelievably empathetic, deeply and personally hands-on-involved in Mom's very difficult and complicated treatments. The other part-owner, the RN lady's husband, is also energetic, intelligent and personable. He has made the home a beautiful, fully equipped, welcoming, and first class household. My experience with Edmonds Villa goes back many years, when my father lived there. It's always been at the top of my list for quality and exceptional care; I'm very fortunate that my mother is there, being cared for far better than I ever imagined. As far as I'm concerned, this place and people are tops. Mother has been through a lot, and it was looking bleak - now she's improving every day, getting better care than anywhere else she's been. So yes, five stars. Better than good - more like awesome, exceptional, phenomenal, top of the line, the very best. And the people are wonderful. And the piano there just got tuned and sounds great!

Our mother moved into Edmonds Villa Adult in early June to accommodate complex care needs. The facility was built as an Adult Family Home (AFH) 20-ish years ago. The owners, Sandra and Michael, took over this home just over a year ago. Recent upgrades include fresh paint, fabulous kitchen upgrade, and an outdoor gazebo, with more upgrades in the works.<br><br>Sandra is an RN and has experience in skilled nursing facilities. The staff, all CNAs, are very professional, conscientious, and kind. Staff are not allowed to use phones on the floor (which I really appreciate). I am confident in the care that our mother is receiving with Sandra providing clinical supervision.<br><br>The table is always set with linens, and residents have lunch and dinner together. The daily menu and schedules are set, giving residents a sense of predictability. Lunch generally at 1130, afternoon activities sessions including flower arranging, range of motion, ball and bopper play at 2pm, dinner at 4:30.<br><br>The common area television is set to programs and stations that the residents enjoy. Rooms are equipped with smart TVs for resident entertainment. The facility is always spotless.<br><br>An incredible bright spot about this facility are the three kiddos, 3.5 years, 18 months, and 10 months, that come hang when Sandra and Michael, aka mom and dad, are working. This AFH is a family affair.<br><br>I highly recommend Edmonds Villa especially for folks that have complex care needs.

Placing my mother in Edmonds Villa was the best decision we could have made. Her medical needs are complex, and the staff here is exceptionally trained and compassionate. Sandra the owner is really involved in mom's care.
