My great grandmother came here and I was absolutely appalled at the conditions they allow people to be in here. It was filthy, stools from previous patients on walker legs, splatter on the walls, broken beds. I felt immense guilt leaving my grandmother here, looked like a page out of a horror story.

Last week I delivered an order that a patient had placed through UberEats that wanted very salty items. I had hoped that they were preparing for a party but then when I got to the customer his room was absolutely filled with sodium- and fat-enriched foods from other deliveries. Major points taken off for not one staff member asking me if I needed help navigating to my customer, extra points removed for lack of clean facilities here. It reeks of urine and I will decline to deliver any more deliveries to post-acute patients.

Zero Stars — Absolute Nightmare at Edmonds Post Acute. Dangerous, Neglectful, and Run by Incompetent People. Avoid at All Costs.<br><br>Placing my family member at Edmonds Post Acute has been one of the worst decisions we have ever made. This place has been a nonstop nightmare of deception, unsafe conditions, and utter frustration for our entire family. I am a retired nurse with decades of experience, and I have never seen standards this low in any healthcare setting. Do not send your loved one here.<br><br>First, this is not a proper nursing home for elderly residents. The facility houses numerous drug addicts, homeless individuals, and people with criminal records right alongside vulnerable seniors. The mix is completely inappropriate and creates a chaotic, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous environment. Your loved one is not in a safe, caring place for the elderly — they are in a facility that feels more like a shelter or halfway house than a nursing home. It is shocking and unacceptable.<br><br>The single worst part of this entire ordeal has been the Director of Nursing. This man is rude, arrogant, impossible to reach, and shockingly incompetent. As a retired nurse, I can say with full confidence that he is one of the most unfit people I have ever seen in a leadership role in healthcare. He ignores calls and messages for days. When you finally get him on the phone, he brushes off every concern with condescension and zero follow-up. He shows no empathy, no accountability, and no interest in actually solving problems. His incompetence directly harms resident care and has made it nearly impossible to advocate for my loved one. This guy is a disgrace to the nursing profession. He has no business being in charge of anything, let alone the nursing care of vulnerable people. Dealing with him has been infuriating, heartbreaking, and has only made an already terrible situation much worse. I have never encountered anyone this bad in that position.<br><br>Staffing is horrendous across the board. The facility is severely short on nurses, aides, managers, and every other essential role. Basic care is not happening. Residents are left waiting far too long for help with toileting, meals, medications, and mobility. In my professional opinion, your loved ones will not be taken care of properly here. The chronic understaffing leads to corners being cut everywhere. This is not a place for anyone who needs real care.<br><br>On top of everything else, the Admissions Director lied to us about critical details. We were specifically promised certain roommate arrangements and consistent therapy services for our family member. None of it was true. It was all false promises designed to get us to admit our loved one. This kind of blatant deception is despicable and has left us feeling completely betrayed.<br><br>In summary, Edmonds Post Acute is a complete failure. It has caused our family endless stress, worry, and regret. Between the inappropriate and unsafe resident population, the rude and incompetent Director of Nursing who couldn’t care less, the severe staffing shortages, and the outright lies from admissions, this place should be avoided at all costs. If you are reading this while considering it for your loved one, please look elsewhere immediately. There are facilities that actually provide professional, compassionate care — this is not one of them. I would give it negative stars if possible. I went to visit a dear friend here today, was totally disgusted! 3 beds in the room and the smell of urine was so overwhelming that my eyes were watering so I couldn't stay long. Room 5 B needs housekeeping!!! Disgusting!!!!

Only leaving a one star because we can't leave less than that. Have not been able to get through to anyone via phone call. My dad is there, he has a prepaid phone, and if he happens to be out of minutes, there's no way to get a hold of him, because no one answers the phone.<br><br>I called one time for about an hour and half, finally I clicked I was a Dr trying to get a hold of someone and got through, only to be told, this is an emergency line, shouldn't be for families trying to reach loved ones, I went off on them. They didn't care. Still didn't get me in contact with my dad. It's pretty ridiculous.
