Makiah is an excellent employee. She is able to relate to her patients and make them feel at ease. She is friendly, thoughtful and, most of all, efficient in performance of her job tasks. She is a very valuable asset to Edenbrook!

I would like to do a review on a CNA named Makiyah. My loved one is a resident and Makiyah is one of his CNA. She is outstanding in every aspect of care!!! I have worked in the health care field my entire life and her level of excellence is rare!!! She always has the patients best care as #1 priority. She is professional and at the same time kind and so efficient. She never hurries the patient. Her efficiency allows her to get a much higher lever of work done than many others do at Edenbrook. She is friendly to the patients and their families. She has great empathy for patients realizing they are not at home and it can be a hard journey for them.

We transported my mother here for post-hospitalization therapy. After being brought to her room, we waited for SIX hours to go through the intake process. Only one person came to the room, to discuss medications and other nursing related issues. Nobody else stopped by to discuss therapy, nutrition, financials, nor did anyone stop to say they’re busy and will be with us shortly. Communication is HORRIBLE. We left my mother in the care of the night staff when we found out the intake staff had left for the day. You only get one chance to make a first impression, Edenbrook!

I was there for about 1 1/2 weeks. I had been in 6 other care centers and Edenbrook is by FAR the best. They generally answered the light in less than 15 minutes or explained why. Had a fabulous kichen staff. I needed a lot of help with some stomach problems and they tried so hard to help. I would recommend Edenbrook to anyone!

My mom was at Edenbrook for about a month before she passed away. The staff was excellent, both with my mom and with our family. They were very sensitive and kind in her last days, moved her to a private room, made sure the family had refreshments. The building is old but they have obviously been fixing it up with new flooring and paint. They made this difficult time for my family a little easier to deal with.
