My dad recently stayed in there subacute and the Hospitality Director Megan was so thoughtful with her welcome basket and how caring and patient she was with my dad. I have never seen a rehab have something like this and it truly changes things in healthcare. Truly thankful for Megan and everything she did for my dad and family!

I would strongly discourage anyone sending a family member here from seeing what goes on in this facility. First, weekends will always be agency. Agency is incompetent, unprofessional and they never know where anything is, not even wipes so I could clean the feces they left on his toilet. I had to bring in my own supplies to make sure he was taken care of. They do not know how to take care of patients with disabilities, and even basically admitted his care was too much for them, but they continued to collect money from him being there with neglectful care. Family members had to come up every single day to make sure he was getting taken care of, and every single day there was an issue. The call bells were not answered for 2 HOURS, and I even witnessed this myself. He was left in his feces over night because he could not make it to the bathroom because he is BLIND. He ended up falling trying to get on the bathroom another night because he knew if he went in bed he would sit in it for hours. They do not know how to handle trach care, we even had to teach most of the staff how to take care of him. There was times he would miss meals, or they would take it when he was in the bathroom without asking him if he ate. He was never monitored while eating although it states in his care that he should be monitored during meals. His last night at the facility he was on the verge of calling 911 because his trach was clogged and he could not breathe, and nobody was answering his call bell. He felt completely helpless and as if he had no dignity. Megan was nice and seemed to do everything she could, but the same terrible and inhumane care continued all the way until his last day there The nursing supervisor ebony and one other nurse that I forget the name of were also fantastic and seen what was going on, but times they were not there, again, he was not getting taken care of. Speech therapy, PT and OT worked with him fantastic to get out of there ASAP because he was clearly better off getting care at home. EDIT: also forgot to mention he was consistently dressed in clothes that weren’t his when he had plenty of clean clothes that were his. He was even sent to a doctors appointment with jeans on that were so tight they didn’t button. They weren’t sending him to doctors appointments with his HME on, which meant his stoma was completely open without filtration, as well as it full of mucus.

Monica and Imani were wonderful aides! Meghan, my nurse, took great care of me as well! The kitchen staff was receptive and helped to adjust any of my needs accordingly. Alexis, from social services, and Cara, the activity director were wonderful! Betty, from the therapy, was informative and helpful. I was able to connect with Megan, our director for hospitality, and she helped make my stay comfortable.

So my experience here with Dwellside was up and down . The staff , nurses Miss Megan the nurse Miss Iesha , Miss Imani were fantastic . Nurse practitioner Leslie and Dr Rym was great .CNA keema, Dominique , and the whole staff was amazing . Hospitality with Miss Megan was tremendous came to see me in the hospital numerous times was great anything I needed she provided . I would like to thank the director of nursing Dan he was great I appreciate the care and long talks with me it was tremendous.I just did not like all the rules and regulations, how they categorize everyone in the same space . Im definitely higher functioning and younger but they treated me like I had serious medical issues . I couldn’t relate to the older population at all . The therapy team with Aaron was tremendous . I was here for Gastric sleeve surgery that went bad overall besides the administration everything was great I don’t agree with having 25,23, and 27 year olds in prominent positions as administrators trying to tell residents what to do with no degrees . Just goes to show that administration doesn’t value all clients well being it’s about money for them . Putting people in rooms with others without a screening process . My clothes was stolen by a roommate. They let it slide .there was some terrible things but alot of good people who I named was nice. Shout out to Miss Alexis and Miss Kim in Social Work they where phenomenal. The floor tech maintenance Ron , Sal , Keith , amazing . Thank you so much but the people in administration they know who they are where absolutely terrible

Mom recently received care here, and I can’t say enough about how amazing Megan, the Hospitality Director, was with her from start to finish. From the moment Mom arrived feeling anxious, Megan was there with her bright smile and warm welcome, instantly helping Mom feel safe and at ease. Mom truly thinks the world of her. Megan has such a kind and gentle way that makes you feel right at home, and that’s exactly how Mom felt whenever she was around. She checked on Mom regularly, making sure she was comfortable and doing well, and she was always attentive without hesitation. Megan also communicated wonderfully with our family, reassuring us that Mom was in good hands. The nurses who cared for Mom were incredible as well. A heartfelt thank you to Dominique, Janelle, Mercy, and Alisha for being so attentive to Mom’s medical needs during her stay. And thank you to Juana and Mayra for always engaging Mom in activities and bringing joy to her days. To all of you—never let your light dim. Keep loving the work you do, because there are so many people who will always need your dedication, care, and support. You showed Mom exactly that, and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you. ❤️
