I would like to offer my thanks to all the staff members at the Durand Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. Their professional attentive care for my father's last day's was greatly appreciated. They made him as comfortable as he could be for his time left on earth. They were very respectful and attentive to Dad's visitors as well. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness in our time of grief. I felt like I had an extended family helping us through this emotional period. Thank you again for your support.

Very disappointed with the care my grandmother received here. She was taken off all of her medications without any notice to family, and we only found out after the fact. On top of that, multiple pieces of her clothing went missing when she left the facility, and staff said they “couldn’t find them.” There was a clear lack of communication and accountability. Not well taken care of. Awful. Sad most of these places are like this. We would not recommend this facility.

An excellent staff that will go above and beyond to accommodate you and your loved ones! Father in law did not have a phone and a staff member used their own so he could speak with his dog before she had to be put to sleep. An incredible and very very selfless and compassionate staff!

This place is absolutely horrible. Patients being left unchanged in soiled undergarments. Staff totally ignoring patients. Been waiting over an hour for my mother to be put to bed. Asked nurse, they stand around and chat, sit down writing room numbers on cups ignoring my request for my mother to go to the bathroom and bed. For the sake of God if you love your parents dont bring them to this place. How could anyone consider this place to be senior CARE, total opposite. I will be filling a complaint with the State of Michigan and The Joint Commission, JCAHO. They have also twice now not given mother her medicine, it was logged in their computer that they gave it to here at a certain time, but the time they claim to have given it to here I was there and it was not given to her. So the nurse has been falsafying records and lying but entering it in to the computer that she was given her meds. You can really tell by my mothers behavior that she has not received it!

As a service provider for numerous healthcare and nursing facilities across Southeast Michigan, I'm thrilled to share that this particular business exudes wonderfully positive vibes and a good feeling the moment you walk through the door! I always notice the little things about nursing facilities, and my nose is usually the first to tell me if a facility truly cares for its patients. Here, I smell nothing but cleanliness, aside from the occasional, understandable accidents. This place truly smells and looks very clean. The hallways are wide, and there's an excellent presentation of workers who greet you with a smile. I've personally witnessed their focused, thorough, and caring approach to patient care. The positive vibes from all the staff really stood out to me and made a great impression! No matter where I went, there was no negativity or bad attitudes, unlike other healthcare facilities I've experienced. Durand Senior Care & Rehab Cntr goes above and beyond, offering a truly positive and caring atmosphere, even amidst industry-wide challenges like staff shortages. I'd absolutely choose them for long-term or short-term rehab care – their delicious food and excellent patient care speak for themselves! They even arrange transportation for appointments, ensuring every need is met. Two thumbs up for all the nursing staff, physical therapy, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, all of the administrative office staff, and anyone else I have failed to give a shout-out to. What a great place you have here! Attached is a photo of what they have for lunch today! #Healthcare #Nursing #Facilities #SoutheastMichigan #Care #Cleanliness #Smiles #Patients
