Dove Healthcare - Regional Vent Center

Dove Healthcare - Regional Vent Center is a 31-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in ventilator-dependent care in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Located in the heart of the Chippewa Falls medical community since 1987, it is the only state-approved ventilator-dependent skilled nursing center in the Chippewa Valley and one of only six in Wisconsin.

The center cares for patients living with advanced, chronic respiratory needs and complex medical conditions, including those requiring IVs, tube feedings, complex wound care, TPN, and CoughAssist therapy. The facility is supported by a higher staff ratio and innovative technology, with a strong history of weaning patients from ventilators and helping them return home whenever possible. The multidisciplinary care team includes a board-certified pulmonologist, nurse practitioner, 24-hour respiratory therapist coverage, and nursing and therapy professionals with specialized respiratory and ventilator training.

The center offers personalized short-term and long-term care with comfortable, spacious accommodations and round-the-clock nursing support. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are available to help patients regain strength after surgery, illness, or injury, with outpatient therapy services also provided at multiple locations including Bloomer, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Osseo, and Rice Lake. Specialized services include complex wound care, physical and speech therapy for neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease using the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment protocol, and on-site physician services through collaboration with a local medical clinic.

Amenities include multiple lounge areas, a chapel, and an expansive community room for gatherings and activities. Three nutritious meals daily are provided with snacks and beverages available 24 hours a day. A variety of daily activities encourage socialization and community outings. The facility also partners with area hospice agencies to provide comfort and compassionate care during end-of-life support.
