This place smells horrible (administrator) gives off the energy as if she belongs on the streets today i went to diversicare to visit my mom she has scratches bruises and seem to have lost alot of weight nurses aren't tending to our loved ones and the cnas are short staffed and seem to be very over worked my mom had vomit on her clothes I asked for a towel and was told we didnt have any towels or wipes I waited on the new administrator and again she is on vacation corporate should look into this building the building in whole smells awful roaches every where the same curtains are up since I placed my loved one in here 2 years ago the food looks like something I wouldn't feed my dog diversicare of batesville should be shut down and no one should ever have to see their loved one suffer like this

Had a pleasant experience with my mom stay for a few weeks, all the nurses were nice and very helpful, therapy was very helpful.

Do not send your loved ones to Diversicare of Batesville. This place is unsafe, unclean, and completely neglectful. They lost my mother’s oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, glasses, and clothes after her hospital stay — and promised to replace them, but it’s been over three weeks with no action. She had a UTI on the 14th, and they did nothing. I brought it up again on the 20th, and staff told me the nurse practitioner wouldn’t help until Monday. I had to take her to the ER, where they confirmed a serious infection. I gave the staff the prescribed antibiotics — three days later, they still hadn’t given them to her. I removed her within two days. I stayed with her for eight days, and no one offered help. No towels, no hygiene support, no bowel care — nothing. The place even has roaches. This facility is a danger to patients. Keep your family far away from Diversicare of Batesville.

I went to check this place out for my mother. Anyone who has commented positively is definitely in the wrong. The pure stench of the pace as I walked in was unable to mask. It looks so sad and depressing I don’t see how anyone who actually visited would allow anyone to stay there. There are alternatives. If you are sending a loved one or anyone you should definitely visit first!

My dad was admitted here after a series of strokes for therapy. He was only here 3 days in the time he was here I observed they are very understaffed. Patients were left unattended a majority of the time. The place smelled horrible. My dad had lost all function and he ended up on the floor many times. The place was really dirty and could use fresh paint in the rooms. I never knew what room my dad was in cause they moved him continuously. I got phone calls in the middle of the night for them to “tell on dad” it was a nightmare. My dad was going through a lot and they kicked him out after 3 days. My dad is now in a nursing home in Memphis and it’s so nice. He has been diagnosed with dementia and sundowners. They take excellent care of him. So the problems they were experiencing with my dad could have been solved if they did their job properly but because he had too many issues at night they kicked him out. When he fell continuously because he was experiencing signs of dementia and sundowners and lost his independence they blamed it on him trying to off himself. Do better diverscare pay attention to your patients
