Our sister has been at Dellwood Gardens for 2 years and it is the best place we could have found for her. She has multiple health issues and the staff are amazing at providing the best care, giving us recommendations for care improvements & alternatives, and discussing options to help us make the best decisions. We are very pleased with all of the assistance, the meals are wonderful and the activities are fun and stimulating. We are so thankful!! Thank you to all the staff at Dellwood Gardens!!

I have lived here for over 6 years now & I used to feel OK about living here--not THRILLED, mind you; just OK! I now find myself pushed into a position wherein I am basically being forced to vacate what I believed would be my home until "the end"; for want of better terminology to explain my position This all evolved after an incident with another resident who<br>(again for lack of more evolved terminology) basically assaulted me by throwing her silverware at me at close range & proceeded to curse at me. It all started because of a private exchange between myself and a kitchen worker that had already been resolved and this resident just felt compelled to "dip" into a private exchange that was NONE of her business in the first place. This was all recorded on videotape and I made sure eventually that there was a case filed with the SP police dept.<br>There is an enormous (at all times) overturn of workers in the aide positions and DG has a inefficient & negative tendency to hire very young & inexperienced people; generally fresh out of NA classes).<br>DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND MY PERSPECTIVE! There are aides whom I truly love nearly as much as I love my own children and have developed close & long lasting relationships with but those gems are very few and far between and the aides that I feel THIS way about (most of them, anyway) have mostly been here since I arrived in July of 2018.<br>DG's way of resolving this 6 months long situation w/this woman/resident (with no end in sight according to satisfy me or my daughter, at any rate) chose a couple weeks ago to tell me that they thought it was best for me to move on to another residence. Completely & totally unfair, imho!! I really hate having to move AGAIN!!<br><br>This review will be continued because at this point, I feel very badly re/this entire mess & I need to take a break
