The people there are great. They check on you always and are there. If you need anything the food was very good, which can be unusual in these places. Rehab was incredible. All the people very kind would not mind staying there again if I had to be anywhere. As far as the price goes, I don’t know because MEDICARE and my part B took care of everything which is also wonderful

Evening and night shift staff minimally responsive to call lights. Wait is 1-2 hours on a regular basis. My husband’s roommate had chest pain for 6 hours , 6:30 Pm to 4:30 Am and no one answered call lights. My husband had to walk to nurses station with walker to alert nurses. He has Parkinson’s and is a fall risk. Patient transported to Hoag ER. Reported to Joy, Asst. Director of Nursing , who said she was unaware of the problem. ! Took 18 hours to repair call lights, which do not have audible or visual indicators of functionality. . Bath 2x/week. If they miss a day they wait till the next one cycle. . Hard to reach nurses by phone . PT is very good and attending MD, Dr. Homan, is very good. Unfortunately that does not make up for deficiencies. Nursing management poor. Staffing poor. Noisy at night. Won’t go there again.

Daytime experiences are great. The night crew is a bit scarce and it takes a bit longer for call buttons to be answered but overall—great experience so far! At first we were a little skeptical but the staff has been fantastic and the facility is nice and clean. Plenty of natural light. And the food is made from scratch!

My experience has been great at Crystal Cove with only two exceptions. #1: There have been 3 times I have told the nursing station that I will pick my brother up on a certain day at a certain time, and when I arrive to get him they tell me I didn't make anyone aware. It's caused extra time getting his appointment packetvtogether and checking with the doctor. It seems this has been corrected within the last week. #2: My brother is at CCCC because of a slow healing wound following pacemaker surgery and it doesn't seem like its being checked by the doctor 3 times /wk as we were told would happen. Other than that I think CCCC is a great place, very kind staff, friendly with patients. clean surroundings, and patients seem to like being there.

Such a friendly and caring staff with the patients and visitors. Different activities to help keep patients entertained. Great physical therapist. Very clean facility. My mom was very happy during her stay. We are grateful she was able to stay here during her rehabilitation. Thank you to everyone who made her stay pleasant.
