My son who was bed bound when moved into Crowell on 10/25/21,he was not cared for even after many calls to adult protective services.The facility was always under staffed because director of nurses allowed them to call in as they pleased,Only a few good cna's that cared for residents.My son was always dehydrated, I asked every cna to please offer water,even put signs on the walls in his room,they was ignored.the residents always asked me for a drink,since they seen me more than the staff,I always gave them water.When trays for meals were served,the residents waited to be fed cause again no staff to feed them,My son has never been to the emergency room so much as when at crowell ,for UTI'S and goll stones,from dehydration!My sons femur was broke on 1/26/24 by a nurse(Nancy) who was never fired till this day!The facility hires those with no licenses to work at facility, to name one (Shameka Damper)who also abused my son for the time employed there!The med aids gave me his medications to give to him for years ,thats against the law!My son always had bruises all over his body ,and scratches all over his body, face,head ,neck,possibly from the cna's with over 1 inch long nails! Ive seen so many residents bruised,cuts,faces black and blue!My son sat in his wheelchair many times till after 8:30 pm because no staff,I was asked to help put him into bed many times and help change him as well.My son slept in urinated bed many times,As I asked for him to be changed and into his chair to have a meal! If you love your family member,Do Not Put into Crowell home,The facility needs to be closed down!Do visit the place daily ,different hours so you see for yourself if you decide to put family there! I have proof of all im saying here.An apology will not be accepted in all the abuse my son went under! wont change the fact that he was abused by crowell facility for years!!
