This review is directed to the Director of Nursing. While Cross City has an amazing physical therapy team, the same level of care is not reflected in the nursing staff. Some nurses are poor listeners, argumentative, and dismissive of concerns. Several nursing assistants are not adequately trained in basic patient care. They often do not know whether residents can walk, communicate, or understand their medical conditions, which are fundamental requirements for providing safe and appropriate care. This is a small facility that is rarely at full capacity, so there is no justification for substandard care or lack of staff awareness. Examples: •Not knowing when patients have eaten. last. •Leaving call lights on the floor. •Not dispensing medications properly OR promptly. • NO proper PPE AND if your family memeber needs oxygen they might get it they might not yelling back at patients saying that they can not breathe "yes you can!". Reporting concerns directly to you (D.O.N) has been ineffective, as staff behavior is consistently excused rather than corrected. This lack of accountability is unacceptable and requires immediate attention to ensure residents receive the quality care they deserve. Additionally, the facility itself is in noticeable disrepair and is severely outdated, further impacting the overall quality of care and environment for residents. This is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

The Administration, food service and Nurses, CNA’s and the cleaning staff are awesome, always willing to help, friendly. I’m so blessed to have this facility help me take care of my mother. My mom seems happy and healthy. She loves to sit in the halls and be nosey and yes sometimes she leans over and falls asleep but she is always taken care of. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs care for their loved ones. They are awesome.

Cross City has an five star physical therapy team. Some of the nursing staff are poor listeners and argumental and the young inexperienced nursing assistant needs to be trained better on patient care. They do not know if the residents can walk, talk, or have knowledge of any of their medical conditions the important things they should know to provide quality patient care. This is a small sixty bed nursing home that is never at full capacity so patient care should be superior. Reporting things to the Director of Nursing so that she can excuse her staff behavior is useless and unacceptable.

I was at this facility to visit a friend. It came up on my GPS as Cross City Rehab & Health. I left my review under that name. PLEASE check out my review before putting a Loved one in this place. Hallways lined up with patients in wheelchairs, some slumped over, went past a room full in a large TV room with one staff member just sitting there, like everyone else, seen no interactions between staff and patients. Seen numerous people knocking on windows wanting out. Again please read my review. I'd really like for the person responsible for this facility to reach out to me. I have so many questions.

My Mom has been at Cross City Nursing and Rehabilitation for almost one year. The facility is very clean and organized. The staff is always very willing to help with the needs of the resident and family members. I rate the Cross City Nursing and Rehab 5 Stars and more if I could.
