It is extremely important to clearly invest the time and energy to know exactly how good an independent living place is so you can spend the rest of your life optimally. I did visit 15 independent living retirement facilities in the Laguna Neil Senior Center and in my opinion Crestavilla is the best for all of the reasons and mainly the Socialization, friendliness, and kindness in the residence and staff. My sister-in-laws mother has a place here…it was a hard transition to move out of her house. When I went to visit her she was enjoying all the activities and her new friends. My sister was very stressed about moving her mom out of her home to a strange place- Krista and the staff at Crestavilla has been a Godsend. They created rainbows within the storm. Thank you. Strongly recommend - lots of hearts in Crestavilla.

I recently had the opportunity to spend time at Crestavilla Assisted Living, and I left incredibly impressed with both the community and, more importantly, the people who bring it to life every day. Miguel, the Resident Care Manager, is a true leader in every sense of the word. His clinical knowledge, calm presence, and genuine compassion for residents set the tone for the entire care team. You can tell he’s deeply committed to quality care and supporting both residents and staff. Paola, the Director of Hospitality Services, creates an experience that goes far beyond expectations. From the moment you walk in, there’s a sense of warmth, attention to detail, and pride in the environment. She understands that hospitality plays a huge role in how residents and families feel, and it shows. Norma, the Memory Care Director, is exceptional. Her patience, empathy, and expertise in memory care create a safe, engaging, and dignified environment for residents. It’s clear she has a passion for serving this population and supporting families through every stage of the journey. As someone who has worked closely with senior living communities, I can confidently say that strong leadership at this level makes all the difference. The team at Crestavilla is aligned, compassionate, and focused on delivering meaningful experiences and high-quality care. Crestavilla is fabulous! We moved my Mom into memory care from another facility down the road and the experience has been night and day! As soon as Mom wakes up (on her own time 😊), she is assisted in her morning care routine and helped with getting ready for the start of her day. Then, she is able to join the rest of the residents, doing activities outside of her room for the entire day with hands on and cheerful interaction with the Crestavilla staff. On our visits, we are always greeted and welcomed with friendly faces. We get professional guidance and emotional support regarding Mom’s condition and health plan. The facility is always very clean, Mom’s room is always kept clean, the grounds and decorating are always top notch, and the food is fresh, healthy, and delicious! We love Crestavilla, and most of all, we love how our mom has been responding and thriving at Crestavilla!
