It was not a great first impression the night I was admitted; they weren't expecting me until the next day, they said, and had to rush to get my bed ready. They ended up placing me in a room with a hostile and biligerant patient, where i did not feel safe. They did end up moving me to a different room that same night, so thats a positive. Staff often would take a very long time to attend my needs; they finally showed up one day after an hour and a half after I pressed the call button for assistance. They lied or improperly documented that I recieved a PRN pain medication that I had not recieved that day. The food they serve might meet nutritional values, but is barely edible a good deal of the time. Things are broken throughout the building and gives the feeling of being rickety on the inside. Seriously, after being in that place for less than seventy-two hours, I was already wanting to leave and wash my hands of the place. They attempt to put diapers on ambulatory, toilet using individuals. When the patient needs assistance with anything, it takes a rediculous amount of time for someone to help- usually over an hour if is a less desired task. However, toward the middle of my stay, I was transferred to another unit within the facility, and the resondes to my needs were met in a more timely manner. Some of the lab workers are not very good at infection control; one dropped a cotton ball on the floor and proceeded to use that on me instead of getting a clean one. If you are reading this, please reconsider before agreeing to come to this place for physical rehab or before sending your loved ones here! Patients here get neglected and lied to. The other patients are often left alone in their rooms, especially if they are not verbal or ambulatory to some capacity. The patients here look like zombies...it's sad and scary. My experience there was awful and I don't want anyone else to experience what I did. People, please vet all rehab facilities very well before deciding on one. Do not send your loved one here! Some do seem to recieve more attention than others, but I can really speak from my own experience. I do want to add that there were a handful of nurses and CNAs as well as physical and occupational therapists that were very kind, compassionet, and considerate. If I could remember all their names, I'd add it to this review. At the writing of this post, I have been home for 48 hours and have done more physical and occupational activities than I did the whole time being at Creekside. Though they were nice, they really didn't do much physical therapy with me, though it was scheduled five days a week. They would usually spend about 30 minutes with me each time, sometimes less. They often would not return if I was unable to participate at the time they came to me. I never knew their schedule gor seeing me, so it would always be a surprise when they came to my room.

If you can avoid leaving your loved one in this facility, do it. Unfortunately my relative is with Kaiser and this awful place is who they contract with for post acute care. The place is old, run down, smells horrible and is just a miserable place to be. Nursing care is sub par, telling patients they will be right back with what was asked for, only never to return. Call lights are ignored for hours. Medications are not passed on schedule and my loved one laid in pain for several hours, completely ignored. They hurt her in the shower to the point she refused showers out of fear. She was yelled at and ignored. The nurses hated seeing us come, which was daily. Whoever is running the place obviously doesn’t care about patient care. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do not leave your loved ones there!

There are some people in the world who go to work, do their jobs and go home. Others take those jobs to a whole new level entirely. We, as a family, could not be more thankful that our mother was in your loving hands are CREEKSIDE POST ACUTE. We thank you for the care that was so beautifully provided. When you carefully wiped our mother's face or spoke words of comfort, you may not have realized it, but your actions not only touched her, but in turn all of us. Words can hardly express what that means to all of us. Thank you Marie, and your wonderful team, for the excellent, compassionate care you all provided for our mother. My grandfather was admitted to this care center, and we couldn't be more happier. This facility is under new owners and new managers and they are now called Creekside Post Acute. I am so glad we found this place. My grandfather is now back home with us and all he can talk about is how caring all the staff was especially Marie, the Administrator. The managers are all new but they sure know what they are doing. Every time we visited the place was always clean and smells good. Just want to say "Thank You" to Team Creekside Post Acute for a job well done! My grandfather is not an easy person to please but you guys won his heart over. Would highly recommend this care center.
