My dad was in Cooney for a significant period. He was taken care of by wonderful and kind staff. They kept me informed and treated both of us with respect and patience. They helped me navigate some complicated issues and were professional and helpful in all matters. Thank you for taking good care of us!

I am currently a patient in rehab. Most of the nurses I have had have been great. The one tonight has been the best every time I had her. Interesting that they would fire her for some reason and then when they find a night they are short staffed they call her back. This place doesn’t know the good employees from the lazy ones. Tonight many people are yelling for help they are not being heard or helped. Most of the CNAs are very helpful however the ones that are brought in that are part time or ones that have never worked here are rude and lazy. The 1 star is for Admin and the night pastime CNA’s particularly the ones working 10/4/25.

If I could give no stars I would. My husband’s mother is at this facility. He has tried all day to reach her. I have tried several times. We each either get transferred to a voicemail and get no call back or just flat out hung up on. Phone manners are nonexistent, once we finally reached someone I pretty much got scoffed and laughed at. With how I’ve been treated on the phone I am extremely concerned with how the patients are treated.

I do not know her name, but the charge nurse working Nov 15th, 2024, deserves 5 stars for her compassion and caring. She had transferred a patient to St Peter's Hospital that night. When she got off shift, she came and sat with the patient who was near end of life and had no family nearby. That's above and beyond!
