The 5 stars r for the care & kindness of the wonderful staff!! The accommodations are horrible! My father's in a rm with someone else which wouldn't be a problem if it was a room that was meant for 2 beds. !! It's a single bed room with 2 beds squeezed in it!! I'm hoping g the rm bill cut in hlf cuz I WILL NOT pay the same price e for half the care & privacy!! It's bad enough hes fighting Cancer & cant be home like he qants to be!! So you figured they would accommodate each patient or find another solution for their overcrowding!! Other then that I can't co.plain.

Staff is always pleasant and Listens to your comments and answers any questions you have. Patient care good, patients are always clean. Couldnt give 5 stars since building is being remodeled and currently a disaster. Im very pleased.

I was there for a couple months about 5 years ago. Redoing my review since it got deleted. OT and PT were great people, but the nursing support staff never got us ready, which cut into out therapy time, by a ton! They get paid for it, we don't get the full time. I had 2 great part-time nurses, but the rest were awful. One was so rude and insulting. Management was no better. The fire alarm would go off at random times, chicken wasn't cooked half the time. Aides would hide in my room so they didn't have to work. They left an elderly lady in a wheelchair for like 12 hours in front of my door multiple times. I still have nightmares about that place. So grateful for the handful of employees who want to help, and didn't just need a paycheck. I would not suggest leaving anyone there for long if you can't go daily to help take care of them.

This is a death house. We had a loved one sent there for rehab, and after 2.5 weeks, he became unresponsive and was sent to the ICU. He was then transported to hospice and died 2 days later. The ICU notified us that he was severely dehydrated, which I'm not surprised about, as the staff needed to be reminded to keep patients hydrated and fed. This place takes liberties on patients using schizophrenia antipsychotic medications to keep dementia patients sedated for their convenience at all times. The staff were rude and ignorant. They turned him into an unresponsive vegetable in their care, where he stopped recognizing his family within days of being there. This facility's negligence and mistreatment of patients is unacceptable. I demand a thorough investigation into their practices. The state health department needs to take immediate action to ensure no one else suffers the same fate as my loved one.

Do not send your loved ones here if you care about them. Staff were always on the personal cell phone and aren’t attentive on the 3rd floors. They always makes us feel bad for asking for a simple things like changing a diaper for an elderly. I do not give bad review and when I do you something is very wrong.
