About ComfortCare Homes of Kansas City
Better Living Begins Here
ComfortCare Homes of Kansas City provides whole person care for loved ones with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and peace of mind for families. It’s easy to connect with us and our caregivers have the answers you’re looking for.
Come Home to ComfortCare
At ComfortCare Homes of Kansas City, we believe that people with dementia respond better to care when they are immersed in familiar, calming environments. Since our founding, we’ve provided our residents with real homes in already existing neighborhoods, as opposed to institutional residential complexes designed to be merely home-like.
We offer different levels of care to address each stage of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Traditional Memory Care
Unlike an average senior living or assisted living facility where memory care may be a small unit sequestered away from other residents, ComfortCare Homes of Kansas City focuses on only one class of disease: dementia due to Alzheimer’s, stroke, Parkinson’s, Lewy Body and other forms of dementia.
Our traditional dementia care is most similar to services provided in assisted living facilities, and best suited for residents who require 24-hour supervision and assistance for most activities of daily living, but do not require skilled nursing care. Our personalized care takes place in residences, with quiet spaces for relaxing, backyards and living rooms for our residents and their families to enjoy. Each home is staffed with certified employees and a caregiver-to-resident ratio of 1:6 or better, on average.
Advanced Memory Care
When a resident requires a higher level of care, ComfortCare Homes of Kansas City offers an alternative to institutional nursing home facilities.
