My sister and I met with the director, was shown the facility, discussed some of the activities, all the other things a visit includes and met some of the staff. And that was it. We knew we had found our mother's new home. The warm friendly staff and atmosphere has helped our mother blossom again. My sister and I truly feel relieved leaving our mother in the hands of the capable amazing staff a director who has helped us immensely. Thank you Colonial Oaks at Spring Hill, KS Fast Forward to 2025. Had we known what we know today about the director and the facility- we would say to others-"STAYYYY AWAYYYY." We are thankful we have a strong faith. In the world of elder care, whether it be for assisted living or a memory care unit places are so unreasonable in regards to cost. Our mother had a dual waiver and that is the only way that we were able to place her in a facility and there are not many that take that. Long, long story short. Our sweet momma passed this June. We could have not done it without the help of some of the workers at Colonial Oaks, and they ALL know who they are! Thank you for always supporting our family and loving our momma.

Colonial Oaks feels like a cozy home wrapped in warm smiles. The staff is cheerful, the activities are lively, and there’s always a sense of calm friendliness in the air. It’s the kind of place where you walk in as a visitor and walk out wishing every nursing home had this much heart.

My mother has recently moved into Colonial Oaks Senior Living at Spring Hill. What a lovely place. It is inviting, friendly, a real "feels like home" place for Mom. She is already enjoying the residents and staff, and loves her new apartment. The staff is caring and competent, and we have no qualms about leaving mom with them. A true blessing to find a place like this for her. Thank you, staff and residents of Colonial Oaks!!

We have had a great experience moving my dad into Colonial Oaks in Spring Hill! After an unexpected health diagnosis, we had to make the decision to move my dad into an assisted living facility. After searching for weeks, and touring multiple facilities, I called last minute and was able to tour this facility within a moment's notice. After touring the facility, patient rooms, talking to the director and lead nurse, and reviewing the financials of the facility, I decided this was the place for my dad. The assisted living was very welcoming, clean (and smelled clean-not just air freshener covering up smells), the staff is all very friendly and nice, the residents seemed to be happy and well taken care of, the food smelled wonderful, and they had activities planned the day I visited as well. The director worked with me on getting all the paperwork done, the finances, and anything else that was needed to get things ready/completed in order to have my dad move in. She also allowed me to set his room up the day before he moved in so he walked into a "familiar" setting with his belongings from his home. This was very important to me to make my dad's "move in day" as smooth as possible since my dad was struggling with the idea of moving to assisted living. My dad walked into his room to see it all set up with his paintings and things from his home, and he instantly was happy to see things familiar to him. The nurses, cna's, director and sales director, have been so helpful and supportive throughout this entire process. I cannot recommend this facility enough! Thank you!

My Mother has recently passed on. I would like to thank Angela ( Nurse / Facility Director ) and all the staff for making my Mother's last 4 years a comfortable and safe place to live. As with any health care facility, they take on many different roles, often times not listed in their job description. Mother had many favorite Care Assistant workers, she loved the new Chef and the newly remodeled facility and grounds are very inviting. I felt a tremendous amount of comfort knowing that this facility has regularly on site Hospice Home Health Nursing staff that work to support Colonial Oaks amazing resident care, when needed. Mother was at a health care medical situation where we felt it best to lean into comfort care instead of sending Mom out to the ER. Caroline and her Hospice team allowed Mom to breath deeply into the sweet ascending, with dignity and doing it completely pain free. I'm forever greatful for everyone that ever showed kindness to Tana King. God bless.
