Very smaller room 4 tv )))) 4 people at arm's length from each other. When 4 TVs are on at the same time, it feels like you've ended up in a psychiatric ward and are being tested to see how strong your nerves are. Some patients are ambulatory and move around easily lose your things and no one is responsible for it. I don't know what kind a medicine they take, but some them, after taking their medicine just sit drool or at the TV turned up volume. There is no personal space anywhere, no even 1cm in their facility where you can been. In room very sensitive brightly lit and special lamps, installed specifically for nurse. That nurse can see when change her patients diapers. I don't know maybe nurses is blind. Because I was a little blinded by this lighting. It's like solar eclipse. If you don't have a personal phone or you haven't paid for the connection on time, you have allowed 15 minutes use phone in room, where #SuperHero sited, the called social workers. And yes, there is dust there, so you need to ventilate the room all the time. You can especially see that dust if you turn off the daylight and let a sunbeam into the room. White fluff is very clearly visible on the sunbeams. I understand that this is from the bed linen, since the towels and sheets are changed every day by nurses. The security has much to be desired but the nursing staff is amazing. My mother has dementia and they take phenomenal care of her. She has been the healthiest in years. They don't do what typical nursing homes do druging her up, they treat her like a person when I'm there or not. They braid her hair and polish her nails. Very happy with selection for my mother to live out her life.

The old woman that works as a security guard during the day is EXTREMELY rude beyond what is reasonable. I was walking the island and needed to use the toilet. There was a toilet right at the entrance to the facility and i wanted to use it. Instead of being helpful and either allowing me to use the toilet or directing me to a toilet she yelled and screamed that it isn't her problem and that i had to leave. She said it was because of the virus. I was wearing a mask and besides, every other place on the planet has moved on so it is a very thin excuse and no excuse for being rude. I simply don't see what harm there is in letting someone use the toilet. Yelling does not intimidate me and i asked her to call the police. It is better to de-escalate then escalate a situation. It is people who act like this that cause people to hate the police and authority. Calm discussions can really do more.

I had a very good experience? Idk what’s the problem. The staff was beyond kind . They went above and beyond . They were great . Bc of Covid you can’t go up to the rooms , hopefully that changes soon , but they brought down my mother and she was very well taken care of . They brushed her hair , her nails were clipped and she was well dressed . My mother was relaxed and had nothing bad to say ! …. at the end of our interaction , she said she wants to go back to her room . I felt very comfortable with her there . I don’t understand the bad reviews . My only complaint is that the location is terrible . Take a tram , a red bus , the q102 , the f train . My lord 🙄
