My parents have been at Collington for a few years now. Started out pristine and perfect. My dad is in memory care now and the facilities are very run down and depressing. The room just next to the TV area has wall paper peeling. This is very unattractive. You should not be adding on when you need to repair, fix, make better the currant residencies and common rooms. Is deep cleaning a thing of the past? Buyer beware!!!

Having recently spent more than 3 weeks in respite here at collington, I found the care and concern provided by the staff to be wonderful. Whether interacting with the medical & nursing staff or the aides who always provided thoughtful and through support; or the dining group who enabled residents to select their custom meals days in advance; interacting with the housekeeping staff who thoroughly cleaned the facilities each day; or the personal laundry

Don't die here. Loved one has been dead for over a week and we can't get a death certificate. Just ridiculous.

My sister and I toured Collington a few years ago for our parents, and it seemed very nice. However, at that time, we decided to go with a 55+ community. Fast forward a few years, my dad my dad had a stroke and needed rehab. The Collington nurse rejected him, stating that his needs were too complicated (despite the fact that he was ambulating and able to perform ADL's). Since that time, my dad has been diagnosed with progressive dementia and we needed to find permanent, assisted living housing with memory care. I considered Collington<br>again, and again, I was denied and told that there are "no vacancies" in assisted living followed with, " This is a private facility ". If we could not afford Collington, we would not entertained it the FIRST time around. At any rate, I was not given any alternative options, until I received a follow up email from someone in the marketing dept. Bottom line, if you are able-bodied with no physical issues of any sort, Collington will welcome you with open arms. The moment you get "complicated", there are no vacancies. As a nurse myself, I find this despicable. It is already a difficult process to find appropriate care for your loved one. It's made even worse when the STAFF is a part of the problem. Stay woke people.

We had reservations as guests of a resident couple. We sat for over thirty minutes before the waiter took our dinner order. By then, the alternative menu was closed. And the buffet was basically out of food. The waiter obviously didn't care, and the three other employees we asked for help just pointed us back to the waiter. We had waited a month to try the crab cakes, and barely had any food at all.
