Cogir has been a great memory care facility for my mother who has dementia. We were no longer able to care for my mother’s wandering and home behavior. We tried moving her to an adult family home that did not work out. I was impressed with the staff on my initial visit and we signed up my mother with Cogir and she has been residing there for the three months now. The facility is very clean, and the staff is excellent. My mother is very well cared for. She requires mobility assistance, and they are able to provide that for her. In addition, she has issues with sleeping at night, which is what caused the difficulty at the adult family home, as the nighttime staff was exhausted from my mother‘s lack of sleeping at Night. At Cogir, they have been able to manage this behavior excellently. They provide her a safe and supervised environment. I really appreciate the staff and thank them for providing such great care for my mom.

Jenn was amazing! We did a tour with her to understand the next steps for my loved one, and she was so helpful.. professional.. and kind. It’s hard to find people with bedside manner that are so genuine and thoughtful. I would feel very comfortable having my relative stay here with the information she has given me.

I’m absolutely so grateful for this community and how much they have helped my Dad transition into memory care. We had looked at multiple places but found that Jennifer was the most professional from tour to move in. She answered questions we didn’t even know we would have! The care staff is great and you can tell they really care about the residents.

When our family received my dad’s diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia, we were completely unprepared. His condition surfaced suddenly in an emergency situation and took us all by surprise. I stepped into the role of primary caregiver with no prior experience, and after four intense months, it became clear that both my dad and I were overwhelmed. We knew he needed the specialized support of a professional memory care community, but finding the right place felt nearly impossible. He was living in a state with long waitlists and limited resources for dementia care — some facilities had waits of a year or more. The moment we connected with Cogir of Bothell, we knew we had found something different. From the very beginning, we felt supported and understood. Jennifer Sawtelle, who guided us through the placement process, was extraordinary. With her help, we were able to complete everything and relocate my dad within just a few weeks. The staff even assisted with arranging his flight, and Jennifer personally accompanied him to ensure a smooth and reassuring transition. When he arrived, there was a thoughtful and detailed plan in place to help him acclimate comfortably to his new surroundings. The daily structure and wide range of engaging activities brought out parts of my dad we hadn’t seen in months. The immersive, supportive environment eased his anxieties and created meaningful opportunities for connection and friendship. Most importantly, the staff cared for him as if he were their own family member — with patience, dignity, and genuine love. Our family will forever be grateful to Cogir of Bothell and every member of their team. Their dedication, compassion, and expertise gave our dad not just care, but quality of life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I visited my dear friend who lives here, and she is truly happy to be part of this community. Since moving from living alone, I’ve noticed her mood has improved and she seems much less lonely. I’m very grateful to the staff for taking such good care of my friend.
