Someone I cared for recently passed. It saddens me the last time I tried to call Citizens I was told I couldn’t speak to them because they didn’t want them get “riled up” by the desk lady. That could’ve been the last time we spoke and my call was denied. As well as Ed is very rude and strange. I do however want to say one of the cnas Sally is awesome and very nice along w a few others.

My father recently stayed at Citizens Care Center before his passing and I am very grateful for the care and support he received while he was there. Literally everyone - the admissions folks, the social worker, the physical therapists, the unit secretary, the business office, the nurses and aides, etc - was kind and genuinely cared about my father. When it became clear that he wasn't going to recover from his situation and he chose to go on hospice, Citizens gave him privacy and treated him with compassion, dignity, and respect. If I could give them 6 stars, I would.

Citizen Harborview has been phenomenal with my mom. The nurses/aides are very caring for her. I don't know if it's because she used to be the manager over the kitchen or not. What I do know is that one of us 3 kids is there everyday to check on her. I guess my only complaint would be of the cooks from the kitchen. Today was hamburger day and what they sent up to her was still raw on the inside. That is ridiculous.They are non profit care facility and the amount they charge there should be no reason as people getting raw food . What's bad is you send it up to the lady who used to run the kitchen and take pride in it and would have never sent something out like that.

This place is horrible. They treat the patients so bad. My grandmother is there and has had the worst treatment ever. I just want her to get better so she can get out of there. The therapist she had is very nasty, the nurses take forever to come when called. My grandmother had to go to the bathroom, hit the light for help and it took over 20 minutes to get there! This is uncalled for, she was hanging out of her bed when my dad got there to visit-no one came to help her! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! I hoped they would treat her nice since her other granddaughter worked there but nope. They do not care about the patients there. Not one bit!

Visited a friend here and this is an extremely nice Nursing care center compared to most. It was clean & Bright and the employee's were very nice and helpful to us. As a volunteer Hospice worker ( I would go in and just sit and talk or read or just be there to hold thier hand when family couldn't be present or they didn't have any family left) I have been in many Nursing homes and this is by far one of the Best. She had a beautifully huge window and there was a big beautiful court yard to take your loved one out in.
