Unfortunately, being an older patient with complications from surgery, I needed home care providers who were considerate, aware of my problems, and understanding of my physical handicaps. But that was not what I got. This home healt provider who was assigned to me would show up unannounced and beat and bang on my door until I let her in. At the time of release, I requested she phone the next day to make an appointment so I can sign off on home care. She called me before 8:00 a.m. I was still in bed and did not answer. She did the next best thing, of course, at 8:06 a.m. she came to my home unannounced. It is my belief, this lady missed the part in her training where a good home health provider is described. Or else she relies on following her hero example, Nurse Rachette, in the movie, "One Flew Over The Cockcoo's Nest." I pray for her and the welfare of her present and future patients. She is a bully.
