A Grateful Review for Exceptional Care - Chateau Valley Center in Renton<br><br>Our family is deeply grateful for the outstanding care my mother received throughout her time at The Chateau Valley Center. Mom lived with us until we were no longer able to handle her care without professional help. She started there first as a Respite Care resident. That turned out to be a good transition event, as she was used to the staff and activities before moving there. She had a very comfortable apartment, with levels of care being carefully calibrated to her declining abilities. As her needs increased, the staff guided her through each transition with compassion, patience, and professionalism. There were so many activities available, and she made many friends in her new community.<br><br>When progressive dementia made memory care necessary, they continued to treat her with dignity, kindness, and respect, giving us confidence that she was safe, understood, and well cared for. There was skill-appropriate programming provided in Memory Care, which helped my mother maintain her functioning for much longer than might have otherwise been possible.<br><br>The staff did an excellent job not only meeting my mother’s changing care needs, but also supporting her children whenever we visited. They were welcoming, responsive, and reassuring, helping us feel included and informed during a difficult stage of life. We appreciate the warmth and dedication they showed our mother and our family, and we would recommend the Chateau to others looking for compassionate, dependable care for a loved one. It is a place we would happily consider for our own care when the time comes.
