I am very familiar with Chateau Le Petite because both my Mom and my sister have lived there. Mom was at the Chateau for the final 2 years of her life. The care from their staff was excellent. Everyone was very caring and compassionate during Mom's last few months. They have more staff than most other Board and Care facilities and it makes a big difference in the level of care provided for each resident. My sister has been at the Chateau for a number of years. Her disability has both physical and cognitive issues, so the care she requires is quite challenging. Her medication needs are complicated, with a schedule that's almost hourly. The staff at the Chateau does a great job caring for her despite these challenges. We evaluated other facilities, but the Chateau is head and shoulders above the others for a resident who has so many needs. Kudos to all the staff, but especially to the house manager Dexter. His facility is well run and exceptionally clean. Chateau Le Petite owners Belinda and Michael are to be commended.
