My mother lived here in skilled nursing for 2.5 years until she developed dementia and became vocal and difficult for staff to manage. She was evicted at age 90. So much for a caring organization founded on Christian values.

My mother lived at Chateau Girardeau in her 90's until her death just shy of what would have been her 100th birthday. She and we, her children, were very pleased with her life there. She enjoyed the many activities, other residents (some had been her classmates at SEMO before WWII), and the excellent care. We greatly appreciate her life at the Chateau, and the wonderful staff.

Therapy is above all the best. My mother had the best treatment the entire time. She is 81 had a broken hip and left there to her home and two weeks later is driving. All of the nurses and techs go above and beyond their duties. Highly recommend.
