Daddy called me bragging on his nurse this morning. That's a real good sign because he wasn't comfortable enough to say much good at the hospital. So I know he is a lot more comfortable here! And he is excited to start therapy! Oh... and the food... he was very impressed by the food so far! Make sure your cook knows that is hard to do. He doesn't taste much but he said its all been perfect! All in all, the staff I personally have dealt with have been amazing. They go above the normal role to make sure that the family is as comfortable with the facility as well as the patient. And they keep us involved and informed. The facility is clean and well organized too! Will recommend this facility to anyone honestly!

A cousin of mine lived here for the duration of her battle with Alzheimer’s. She was always taken good care of by the staff, until her passing. I would recommend this facility for anyone needing care for their loved one.

My mother was in this facility. I am a nurse who works in long term care and I would never recommend it. My mother had two falls one night and we were not notified. We actually found out from my mother's roommate. The facility is very ran down and dated. Call lights often go unanswered or go over for periods greater than 30 minutes. I have observed this myself, as well as a CNA making an inappropriate comment when being asked to provide care for an incontinent resident. You will not have peace of mind if you place your loved one at this facility. We moved our mother to Greenhouse Cottages at Southern Hills in Rison where she has been receiving the best of care. There were two people that went above and beyond at Chapel Woods...LaTeesha in Social Services and Ms. Lola at the front desk. I am thankful for all that they did and wish the other staff there would follow their example.
