When we first moved my dad into Celebration Villa, we were pleased with the decision and he was happy there. But then a private equity company bought it and since Priority Life Care has been managing it our experience has been terrible! My father passed away recently and to date NO ONE from Celebration Villa has called me despite me being his POA and primary contact and me leaving multiple messages. My sister showed up a week after he passed away and found his apartment unlocked! Anyone could have gone in there and rifled through his things for a full week after he died. One of the other residents told us at least four or five families have moved their loved ones out of there recently and many of the 5 star reviews they have on Google within the last year are actually from current or former employees. The turnover on staff has been ridiculously high and it is completely mismanaged. If you look at other recent reviews that mention helpful staff (Sarah, Lateshia) they don’t even work there anymore. Do NOT put your loved one in their care, they can’t even be bothered with a simple “sorry for your loss” condolence call much less answering important questions.

This place and the people are exactly what we prayed for! Sarah, Latisha & Shy helped us navigate through the hard process of finding care respite then permanent care for both parents. They were patient, provided multiple move in options and have excelled in meeting, and exceeding, expectations every single step along the way. You could not ask for a more caring or helpful staff than those at celebration villa of hearthstone east.

It has been a year and a half since we placed our mother in this facility. She is in memory care, and unfortunately they have had staff turnover and very inconsistent staff, which is problematic when it comes to memory care. When we arrived It was very evident that the staff did not have specific education in dealing with memory care patients. We were pacified as family members that they were bringing in administrators to teach how to deal with memory care patients. This was over a year ago. The staff that were trained by administrators, more than likely have turned over.<br>The administrator is very nice, Sara. I’m wondering if the issue is not above Sara Eisenbarth as there are still many concerns.<br><br>We walked in the other day with the overwhelming smell of urine. This was the stigma we were trying to avoid in taking kids to the location. We had never smelt this before. This is a recent decline and overall care.<br><br>We have also lost multiple clothing items. The facility advertises that all the possessions of the residents are washed independently of others. This begs the question what is happening to the assets?<br><br>Nursing is refusing to do standard nursing task to include taking verbal orders for non-controlled substances. This is caused significant delay on many occasions in which administration is failing to address. The nurses continue to blame the fax machine as that is their only method to receive orders. We are in a day and age where communication is key, but there are many obstacles being placed by Celebration Villa that places patients at risk for harm.

Shi was absolutely amazing. She provided a wonderful tour and went above and beyond to ensure I felt heard. My mother will be moving into the community next week. We are hopeful this is the needs.
