I am a resident at Castlewood and I can’t say enough positive things about it. The staff is amazing and caring, and the Administrator Patricia is so very kind and helpful. I’m treated with respect and dignity and feel at peace. I would highly recommend Castlewood

When my dad’s health started to decline and it was clear he needed more support than we could provide at home, I was filled with anxiety and guilt. I visited several assisted living places in the area, but the moment I walked into Castlewood, something just felt right. It’s warm, inviting and most importantly it felt like home.

From day one, Patricia and her team were transparent, compassionate and incredibly helpful. They took time to answer every question I had (and I had a lot) and never once made me feel rushed or like I was “just another family.” Patricia clearly knows this work inside and out, especially when it comes to navigating things like Medicaid and long-term planning. That kind of support was invaluable during such a stressful time.

My dad has now been living at Castlewood for six months and I can confidently say this was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He’s eating better, he’s more social and he has a spark in him again that I hadn’t seen in years. The staff is attentive, respectful and genuinely kind. You can tell they treat every resident like family not like a job.

The facility itself is spotless, beautifully decorated and doesn’t have that cold, clinical feel many larger places do. The small number of residents allows for real, personal relationships to develop not just between staff and residents, but among the residents themselves. I’ve seen firsthand how this community brings people together.

The home-cooked meals smell amazing every time I visit and my dad (who was always picky!) raves about the food. They’ve also been very accommodating to his dietary needs. Activities are thoughtful and engaging, and the staff regularly goes out of their way to celebrate birthdays, holidays and other special moments.

To anyone reading this and feeling overwhelmed about making this decision for a loved one, please schedule a tour. You’ll see exactly what I mean. Castlewood isn’t just a place where seniors are taken care of. It’s a place where they’re respected, seen and valued.

Thank you, Castlewood team for treating my dad like your own. You’ve given our whole family peace of mind and that is absolutely priceless.
