My mother was in memory care- there were some excellent care providers but they are understaffed and do not have time to really interact with residents. Nothing is done to acclimate new residents to the environment, they are rolled into dining room, and set with strangers. No introduction. Imagine being in a new place, not being able to clearly vocalize your needs and just left there… they have a revolving admin staff. Understaffed and some of the workers are rude and complain about the residents who have greater needs. She was never invited to activities - when they had them… They charge if residents use call light for help… my mom didn’t have a shower for 2 weeks… was left in her room with her walker in the hallway. It was zero piece of mind having her there…the facility looks nice and is clean but it is not a good place on the memory care side.
