Mrs. Barbara Oates has been our personal care assistant for nearly 7 years. I say "our" because what she does in caring for my sister who has dementia also helps me. She has always reported on scheduled days of work. She has always presented herself in a professional manner. She has always performed her duties professionally. I would like to thank Donita McCoy for saving my life. She was fast acting , when she came in and saw me shaking and not able to talk. She called the rescue squad got my medical book(she had put together)and packed me a bag incase I had to stay at the hospital. She did all theses things before the rescue squad got there. Donita had Information ready to give them about my health. I was unable to give them any information. I was shaking,, could not talk, unable to stand and not aware of where I were I was at times. I was hallucinating and Donita was able to keep me calm and explain where I was, as well as what was going on. She even explained to the doctors everything involving my health. She also kept my family updated with everything, from the moment she called EMS, to arranging my way home. If Donita wasn't there with me, I don't know what I would have done. I think she should be awarded for her efforts, because she always goes above and beyond. She is a very intelligent and compassionate young lady.

John Lapointe care ‘s rep, really shows up for everybody, nursing, activities, staff, all of us. He’s always around, knows people by name, and makes it clear he’s there if you need him. What really stood out was Family Day- he went out of his way to find volunteers so everything ran smooth and families could just enjoy themselves. That kind of support goes a long way! 1000 stars ⭐️
