Do not use Canyon Home Healthcare. I got home from the hospital on a Sunday. The office called me on Monday and told me that the nurse would call me. The nurse never called. I had to the office back on Wednesday morning because no one ever called me back. Wednesday came and the nurse was supposed to show at 1pm. She was very late and no apology. She proceeded to tell me that she forgot my packet and would bring it on Friday. I received a text from her on Thursday that I would only receive 1 visit per week after she told me that she told me that I would get 3. She blamed the office and the office blamed her. The office told me that she would call me back and she never did. Then I received another message that she wouldn't be coming tomorrow and she didn't have a time. You do what you want and best of luck The nurse was Ariel Grantham.

I've had excellent physical therapy following my shoulder replacement from Steven. He has been encouraging and knowledgeable, and a reliable source to explain and answer questions. My shoulder recovery is a success.

Beware! Make sure you get them to explain about Medicare throughly. I was sold on home healthcare by apparently just Aspen Pharmacy and thought it was all of home care. They said the most I would have to pay was $500 out of pocket because Medicare wouldn’t cover it since we’re not commercial.
Okay, so we do the 3times a day for seven days antibiotics for urinary infection (he has a catheter). My husband was down for two weeks, not going to PT and the nurse came by, removed the pic, took blood and we thought everything was fine. So, we started PT again…..this was in June. Now it’s August and I find out that Medicare isn’t covering 4 days of PT.
I’m sorry, color me stupid, I didn’t know Aspen and Canyon were separate, so I thought $500 was it. Canyon billed Medicare. Medicare will not cover home care and an outside health service at the same time. Apparently we were not supposed to resume PT until we were officially released.
NO ONE told me this before, during or after…not the nurse or anyone.
I finally realized to call Canyon, after calling Medicare. Jessica, from Canyon, said to me, “We got paid from Medicare and can’t send that back and you’re not going to get the service for free “. I’m sure they got much more than $500! No compromise or anything.
So, now I am having to pay for four days of PT.
I was just told of another PT patient who is having to pay $4000 because of a mess like this, perhaps with another company (I hope).
