My mother was living independently when she caught COVID at the age of 97. She never fully recovered from that event, and when her care went beyond our abilities to keep her comfortable in our home, we looked for other options. We could not have chosen more wisely. It was on the referral of a friend that we interviewed this adult family home, and it was impressive from the start. Her room was beautifully appointed, with lots of natural light. The home itself is warm and welcoming. But it was the family who cared for her that was the best. They were friendly and compassionate, and their home and her room always smelled of fresh air or sometimes of the delicious home cooked food coming from the kitchen. My mother was bedridden for over two years before passing quietly a few weeks ago, and in all that time, not once did she have even the beginnings of a bedsore. If she ever had so much as a scratch on her little finger, the owner would call me to let me know. Her every need was attended to, and she said that she felt safe and comfortable. I felt I could trust in their care of my mother explicitly. The price of her care was very reasonable for the quality provided. We should all be so lucky as to be cared for in our end days by a home such as Canterwood Estates.

I can't say enough good things about the care my grandfather received at this Canterwood Estates Adult Family Home. The staff showed genuine compassion, patience, and respect every single day. What truly set this home apart was the quality of care and the personal attention given to his needs. He was always safe, comfortable, and well taken care of, with every detail handled with professionalism and heart. Which is hard to find in any large Alzheimer facilities. I moved my grandfather from a large facility to this home. They also made sure I was always in the loop. I received regular updates on his health and any changes in his condition, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands.<br>I’m

I appreciate the compassionate care my mother has received at Canterwood. For her condition, she is thriving with their wonderful care, healthy meals, and attention to details of what is important to mom as well as me. I feel so blessed that my mom is in such a great AFH.

I toured a few homes before touring Canterwood Estates Afh and I was so happy cause I found a place where they have that experience in working with dementia diagnosed people in a very cozy and beatiful environment.Experince, I mean like over 20 years not just a online courses like majority of the homes that I toured prior.I also seen some homes that are owned by nurses but I was not looking for the hospital evironment eighter.I was looking for a home.A home where my mother would feel like home and where she would get a good care from experienced caregivers.She had the same caregivers during her stay and that was amazing cause she already knew them in a way and that is a plus in my opinion.My mom was there until the end and all I can say is that every hospice nurse that I talked too was impressed about the care that she got at Canterwood.<br>Thank you for taking care of my Mom!
