I have only visited my brother 1 time, so this might change, however, he was moved there because his prior care facility was not able to keep up with his needs and he was being repeatedly hospitalized, and the others that lived there would steal anything nice we would buy for him. He's been at CalOaks for a short time and I already see the difference. He is happy, he really likes it there, the staff is nice, food is good and he hasn't had a single thing come up missing. We visited on a holiday and we had a hard time getting onto the property, but I'm taking that as a good sign that it will keep any riff raff off of the property as well. Overall, I'm impressed with the care my brother is getting and I look forward to continuing the relationship.

This place is like a communist facility. leaving elders in their own urine until that Mental patients asks for help. Amy is hostile and rude and listens to your phone calls with your loved ones, which is illegal. Elder people have rights as well, but Amy placed my mom in her office when I was speaking to my mom. Mom entered with a cell phone as did her husband and both are "Missing". Then just yesterday a cockroach walked up the door and into my moms room, it so discusting. Cal Oaks Senior Living is the worst place, if you love your family member, do NOT TAKE THEM HERE. Not just that they put a married couple in a SINGLES ROOM, and are taking money from both. When I tried to talk to AMY all she does is yell and it is only a matter of time before they are shut down, from ELDER ADULT abuse, to cockroaches to neglect. If I could leave ZERO STARS, I would. This place and staff are just a building with rooms and they do not care about the person only the persons money. RUN is my advice
