When it came time for us to begin the search for finding a place for our dear Mom, it was very heart wrenching and stressful and our list was long.<br>We researched many of the surrounding senior homes, none of them fit our requirements!<br>Our Mom is a brittle diabetic, chronic pain, dementia, high fall risk among other life conditions that come with age.<br>By the grace of God we found such a place that met our requirements.<br>Butterfly Oasis is a family setting, staff that not only provide the highest quality of care, they deliver that care with love, they have become a second family to our Mom! The wonderful people of Butterfly Oasis keeps us informed on Mom’s condition, concerns, and on the happy, fun moments that are happening!<br>It’s been over a year now that Mom has lived here, she now calls it home! As her daughter, I can’t even describe how heartwarming that is to hear!<br>Thank you to the beautiful family at Butterfly Oasis, we are truly grateful and blessed ❤️

Both my parents were here for well over 2 years. My father passed in December 2024 and the home was so supportive and helpful. Our family was able to come and go and spend time with dad as often as we were able in his last couple weeks. They were more than helpful through this difficult time!<br>Mom is still at the home and getting good care. The workers become friends and are very caring. Mom really enjoys doing crafts with the other residents. The back patio and yard allow for time for them to be outdoors in good weather and is a nice space to sit and visit.<br>Lisa and Amber are available and communicate with us to best help mom with her health issues. It’s been over 3 years now that mom has been here. We are so grateful for Butterfly Oasis and the care they give!

Our loved one, David Wood, was at Butterfly Oasis for about 4 months. During his care, the owners, Lisa and Don, nurses and aides always kept us informed of activities and any concerns they had. Pictures and texts were often shared which were so appreciated. He was encouraged to participate in meals and prayed with the residents. We received a message during the tornado in Portage showing the residents sheltered in their safe zone. Haircuts were provided and documented for us to see. We were assured that David would remain at the residence during his final days. This gave Mike and I such assurance and peace of mind. The people there are true caring angels. I can’t say enough about Butterfly Oasis…my Mom was only there for 5 months before she passed and everyone went over and beyond taking care of her. My family visited a lot and the staff were so sweet. Communication was great, we were informed when something changed in Mom’s health (Gentiva Hospice was great). We became one big family taking care of my Mom…I enjoyed playing UNO with the other residents, sitting outside with Mom and visiting with everyone, bringing KFC or donuts…I really enjoyed watching Mom interact with the staff, residents and Hospice Nurses that visited…she enjoyed them, liked them and it was so sweet listening to them share their stories about my Mom after her passing.

My Mom has been living at Butterfly Oasis for almost 2 months. The owners and staff are wonderful. They are very helpful and caring and know just how to care for my Mom in helping her make the transition from independent living to assisted living. The house is very clean and the food is wonderful. They have a deck which my Mom loves to go out and sit on. I would highly recommend Butterfly Oasis.
