Brittany, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. Her extensive background in geriatric care truly shines through in how immaculately kept her homes are. It's clear that she and her staff share a loving heart for the residents, treating them like their own family. The organization and cleanliness are top-tier. Medications are securely locked, and caregivers use a meticulous documentation system, which provides immense peace of mind. The staff are well-trained, professional, and consistently compassionate. Residents enjoy engaging monthly activity calendars and fun outings. They are also served a nutritious menu each week, which is conveniently posted in the home for viewing. I can't recommend Brittany’s homes highly enough!

How can you write a review for a place that gave you more than you could ask for in a Senior Living home. I have nothing but good things to say and I don't know where to even begin. Our overall experience was exceptional. My elderly father in law was bed bound and lived at Brythaven (on St. Michelle) for almost a year. It was the best decision we ever made. Not only did it give him a quality of life he wasn't getting at a large assisted living facility, but the nurses and aide workers who took care of him became extended family members. They cooked him hot meals daily, gave him all his favorite treats and took the time to get to know him and treat him with dignity and humanity. When my father in law would get low on oxygen or maybe get an infection that caused some confusion in his personality, the aides and nurses were immediately notifying us of any baseline changes and asking us what we thought and what we wanted to do because they knew him and took the time to learn what was normal for my FIL. Having a home, an actual house to live in that does not at all have a clinical feeling, was the best choice we could have made for my FIL's last year of life. He was close to us in location, taken care of in a household environment, loved on, and respected and appreciated. One of the girls (who was my FIL's favorite) literally saved his life once when he was choking and gave him the Heimlich. She was so upset she cried. Another on the day he actually passed gave him CPR until the paramedics got there and attempted to save him again. They all cared for him. Nobody treated him like an annoying old man. They all took such good care of him and we feel we could never repay the kindness and love that was poured into my FIL in his last year. If you are hesitant at all, just talk to Brittany, the owner and have her answer all your questions. My FIL CHOSE to move into Brythaven after meeting Brittany and he never regretted it. For a man who was bed bound you would think he would have had all sorts of bedsores in the year he lived there but he never did. They kept him clean, hygenic and happy. Sadly his body was simply failing and after a bought of cancer and radiation treatments he just didn't have much time left, but until the very end, they took care of him and I will always be grateful! You can't go wrong with Brythaven. It has truly some of the kindest reliable people you could ask for. We are so very grateful.

We looked at several different places when we were looking for senior living for my mother-in-law and we are so happy that we chose Brythaven! She loves the small, personal, loving, family environment. The caregivers are so sweet, attentive, gentle and encouraging and they shower her with TLC. They treat her like she is family. She also enjoys her roommates and they all get along very well. I'm not sure how Brittany (the owner) does it but she is fabulous! She genuinely cares about each resident, she responds to text messages and emails very quickly, she plans outings and activities for the residents, she has people come in to cut hair and give manicures and pedicures, she plans holiday parties and she keeps the houses running beautifully. I would highly recommend Brythaven if you are looking for a safe, comfortable, loving, well run, clean, family atmosphere for your loved one.

My mother is currently a resident here and I cannot say enough great things about Brythaven! They are so attentive to her needs, she’s always clean and well taken care of, and the owner is truly someone who cares about the wellbeing of the residents. I rest easy at night knowing she is well taken care of 24x7. I also really like the one-on-one attention she gets by being at a residential home that can only have 4-5 residents at a time. Personally I feel like the care is much better in this small house assisted living setting.
