Review on the assisted living, I understand residents are allowed to have their freedom but what the absolute hell. I stay at willard heights apartments right infront of the home. Me and my roomate went out to smoke this morning and an elderly women is wondering in the field in 75 degree weather no shade or clouds, by car x stumbling. Nobody was watching her nobody stopped to ask if she was okay, we went up to her and asked if she was alright, she said "someone comes in and out of her room at bristol manner and changed the pass codes on her phone". Yes this could be slight case of confusion but then she makes the claim the manager had taken away her prescription and hides her meds and shes in pain to walk and dizzy, she said she has a bike in her room she can go back and get it but shes confused as to where she even lives or stays. At this point this women is DISORIENTED and is rambling on about things she thinks we're aware about but we do not know this lady. My roommate walks away on the phone with law enforcement at this point and the lady is afraid my roommate is going to fire the manager of Bristol manner? The lady seems adamant about contiung down the road by herself so we let her leave but follow close behind, she almost falls twice, and then literally walks right infront of a moving truck trying to cross the street not even noticing it, they had to brake suddenly but didnt even stop to check on her. Police arrive at this point and even claim they think shes probably a little far gone, and that THEY HAVE DEALT WITH HER BEFORE!! Bristol manner was called and they claimed they didnt even know the lady was missing and went to check her room, so obviously they cannot track who comes in or out of the home. The older male receptionist/nurse who answered showed absolutely no worry, but was shocked to find she wasn't in her room, claimed they dont even have to keep track or an eye on their clientele which is absolute bs and absurd to say. Do better, what if this was your mother or grandmother and absolutely NOBODY had stepped in or said something?

They took good care of my Mother, however there is an ongoing bedbug problem that does not get resolved. Corporate has been called multiple times and the local ombudsman was contacted. They finally treated the whole facility once and that was not enough as my Mother’s things still had bugs when I later moved her to a nursing home.
