Horrible experience. Started off good when they found a caregiver until she turned around and proceeded to tell lies on me & not the truth the company didn't even look into lies the caregiver told the company. Then they told me they had no caregivers willing to drive to Searcy, I'm still in there care and they have not sent one person technically that's called caregiver neglect which I'm thinking about reporting it to who I need to. Don't use this company the owner was horrible as well or whoever I spoke to.. how you gonna hire caregivers that lie? But yet your supposed to be a good company with integrity? Look else where if you value your loved ones care!

Earlier this year, my mom's pelvis was broken in multiple places. After a 5 day hospital stay and two weeks of rehab, she was sent home with non-weight beariing status. Bright Star was assigned to us. In the 4 weeks that have followed, the aide was late the first 9 out of 10 shifts (which made me late for work), called out another shift (and they had no replacement aide to come care for my mom. Speaking of care, the aide falls asleep multiple times in a 7 hour evening (not overnight) shift, can't follow simple directions, like not overfilling the bedside commode and my mom gets her fingers in the poo water when she's trying to wipe her bottom. And she continued this pattern of lateness and falling asleep and not following simple requests even after her superior gave her a talking to. As of today, we are done with bright Star!

This company has made my life much better. My caregiver is amazing! They are genuinely concerned with my satisfaction and quality of life. The office is very competent and knowledgeable. I can't imagine my life without Brightstar Care!

Brightstar has been a Wonderful service for my 85 yr old mother. They have sent professional, experienced caregivers to assist my mother in her recovery from a hip replacement and more recently a knee replacement. They have provided us, her family, with a peace and confidence that she was getting the assistance she needed during recovery. We have used daytime and overnight care during these times and have been pleased with the quality of Brightstar’s employees. They have worked with us in scheduling to be sure that my mother had the help she required. I would highly recommend Brightstar to anyone needing assistance with an elderly parent.

After 60 years of marriage, my husband suffered a head injury and after a long recovery in the Emergency Room, Hospital Rehab, and Skilled Nursing Rehab, he was sent home. BrightStar Care’s Registered Nurse came and assessed my husband to get baselines of what his status was, they learned the discharge plans from the rehab, and they put together a comprehensive plan of care for his new circumstances in our home. My husband is a Veteran of the Korean War, and BrightStar helped us work with the VA to get him Personal Care and Respite benefits paid by the VA. They were also able to help us with our application for the Veterans Aide and Attendant Benefit. They even recommended and Elder Law attorney to help us with our estate planning. The manager at BrightStar accompanied our caregiver on her first shift to introduce her and make sure we were comfortable. She also made sure the caregiver knew what tasks needed completed per the plan of care left in our home. Our caregiver Shay and the rest of the team have been a God send. They assist with bathing, linen changes, laundry, light housekeeping, meal prep, transferring, and companionship (watching and discussing Westerns). BrightStar did a wonderful job pairing up several caregivers with Bill and me. Without them and the wonderful support of BrightStar, my life would be very difficult. I know I am truly blessed and lucky for BrightStar giving Bill and I the opportunity to live life to its fullest. I highly recommend this company!!! Pat
