Bright Star has been wonderful. Elizabeth, our coordinator, is very responsive and extremely competent. Desta, our caregiver, is outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She is kind, reliable, and hard working. We are extremely happy with her performance.

BrightStar is such a God send for our family. My daughter has to do two day, very long infusions at our house. Our nurse has become like family and we are so incredibly grateful we found this company (and more specifically, our nurse). She treats our child wonderfully and is so kind and caring towards her. I can’t imagine ever using another nurse for this procedure. She truly makes my daughter almost look forward to it— she loves getting to see her nurse! I wish all health care workers were as amazing as her.

BrightStar Care provides remarkable high touch service. In addition to their outstanding technical expertise in preparing for and administering infused medications, I am equally impressed by their equally interpersonal skills. My primary nurse, Duy, is always punctual and attentive during his visits. In addition, he is available on demand as circumstances may warrant. BrightStar exceeds all expectations, which explains why I intend to continue to rely on them for my clinical needs.

BrightStar has been providing outstanding services for my wife for almost a year now, both caregiving and nursing. Let me be specific. My wife has a nano rare disease and she has significant health challenges. Our primary caregiver Monica is the best caregiver we have ever had. She is very skilled, very compassionate and she always stays calms so helps me stay calm. She is a treasure. Recently my wife has needed nurses to come by several times a week and our main nurses Andrene and Fatou are equally excellent and kind. Really superb service on both fronts. It does not stop there, both Kerry and her team at the caregiving office and Kim for the nursing services have been compassionate and flexible so we could find the best fits. I am sorry if you require caregiving or nursing services but if you do, I would recommend BrightStar as my first call.

For the past five weeks, our Mom, who is in her 90's has received excellent care from Yvonne L at Brightstar Care of Montgomery County, MD after she was injured. Yvonne's experience in wound care, compassion, long-time experience in health care, ability to anticipate Mom's needs and communicate with the family helped us support Mom's recovery. Yvonne helped to create a detailed and easy-to follow care plan for the 24/7 care team Mom needed at the start, adapted the plan as time went by, accompanied Mom to doctor's appointments, relayed information to family, organized and labeled all the bandages and supplies so they were easy-to-access for the care team, made recommendations that helped speed Mom's recovery, encouraged Mom when she got discouraged, and treated Mom with kindness and respect during a really difficult time. Many thanks to Kerry Swift, the family outreach coordinator at Brightstar for working with us on an hour's notice on a holiday weekend to build an excellent care team that allowed Mom to recover at home.
