I used this location for my mother's respite care. Upon entering the facility for her 6-day stay, she was examined by a wound nurse and found to have no wounds however, when she returned home, she had a wound on her behind. My mother has Alzheimer's disease and is bed-bound. She cannot feed herself or manage her own personal hygiene needs. It was very frustrating to have received a text that her meals were sitting and getting cold and that I should remind her care team that she could not feed herself. In addition, I tried calling the facilities leadership team and never could get a response.

I feel the staff, from the administrator, doctor, DON, some of the nurses, and CNA need to do better. I had to send my mother there, due to my travel job. Everytime I came back in town and visit her, she looked different and nails always dirty and over grown. She gain weight everytime, she has a heart problem, COPD, and blood pressure dx. She’s not getting her weight checked daily, not getting her COPD medication ( I go take her overnight and now her medication is missing, but they assure me that she received it that morning 😕. Asked mom, she said no). Now I get a notification from a hospital about moms blood work, how about she’s in the hospital and has been admitted 😕. Mom was admitted for acute renal failure, potassium 2.0 leathal and sodium 124. She was on diuretics and no potassium. I said something months ago about this, looks like nothing was done. I still didn’t get a call and they never return calls back.

This facility is amazing. I am so thankful for all the staff. My friend is improving daily and the physical therapist goes above and beyond to motivate him and encourage him to be mobile once again. The activity director is great, too. Love this place! So grateful for the staff’s willingness to go above and beyond!

The place is horrible, my dad was refer here after a hospital stay for rehabilitation sessions. It took social worker almost a month to give us any updates and have our 1st meeting. All the time we asked for paper work we only got “Later” as a reply, or some excuse as to why the paper work was not ready. Try to inquire about moving my dad to a different place due to the location being far away and never got answers regarding process to have him change. We inquire about the Medicare application and kept getting different information. When ask about payment and cost they are not upfront. My dad goes to dialysis and they have contact us to go and pick him up several times due to the transportation always being late. We have found my Dad dirty in a few occasions and in the evenings you can always hear a few residents yelling for help and being ignore. The food is serve cold and even making a request from the menu is useless because they never serve what you ask for. I cant wait to get my dad out of the location it has been such a bad experience.
